Kadar Serum Glutamate Piruvate Transaminase Pada Peminum Minuman Beralkohol di Kelurahan Tosuraya Selatan

Abstract


Abstract: Nowadays alcoholism is a problem in every country in the world. Liquor contains ethanol which can cause liver damage mainly hepatocytes then can lead to the increase of transaminase enzymes produced by the liver. One of the transaminase enzymes that used to measure is Serum Glutamic Pyruvic Transaminase (SGPT). This study aim to determine the levels of Serum Glutamic Pyruvic Transaminase (SGPT) in alcoholic beverage consumers in South Tosuraya Village. This was a descriptive study with a cross-sectional design and was conducted from September to December 2019. By using total sampling method, 50 subjects were willing to participate in this study. Blood samples taken form the subjects then examined at Noongan District Hospital Laboratory. The results from 50 subjects showed most of the subjects (80%) in this study were male (40 subjects). The results also showed 44 subjects (88%) had normal SGPT levels and 6 subjects (12%) had SGPT levels above the normal range. Based on duration of alcohol drinking, the average levels of SGPT showed results as followed: subjects who drank liquor for less than 11 years: 22.7 U/L, between 11 to 15 years: 61 U/L, and more than 15 years: 27.38 U/L. In conclusion, it can be concluded that the majority of the subjects (88%) had normal SGPT levels.

Abstrak: Saat ini penyalahgunaan alkohol menjadi masalah pada hampir setiap negara di dunia. Minuman keras atau minuman beralkohol merupakan minuman yang mengandung etanol. Etanol menyebabkan kerusakan hepar, tepatnya kerusakan hepatosit (sel hepar) yang mengakibatkan terjadinya kenaikan enzim transaminase yang diproduksi oleh hati. Salah satu enzim yang diperiksa untuk mengetahui adanya kenaikan enzim transaminase adalah enzim Serum Glutamate Piruvate Transaminase (SGPT). Penilitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kadar Serum Glutamate Piruvate Transaminase (SGPT) pada peminum minuman beralkohol di Kelurahan Tosuraya Selatan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan desain cross-sectional dan dilaksanakan pada bulan September sampai dengan Desember 2019. Dengan menggunakan metode total sampling, didapatkan 50 subjek penelitian yang bersedia dilakukan pengambilan darah. Sampel darah kemudian diperiksa di laboratorium RSUD Noongan. Dari 50 subjek penelitian, subjek terbanyak(80%) berjenis kelamin laki-laki (40 orang). Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan, sebanyak 44 subjek (88%) memiliki kadar SGPT normal dan sebanyak 6 subjek (12%) memiliki kadar SGPT diatas batas normal. Berdasarkan lamanya meminum alkohol, rata-rata kadar SGPT menunjukkan hasil sebagai berikut: subjek yang meminum minuman beralkohol selama kurang dari 11 tahun: 22,7 U/L, antara 11 sampai 15 tahun: 61 U/L, dan lebihdari15 tahun: 27,38 U/L. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tentang kadar Serum Glutamate Piruvate Transaminase (SGPT) pada peminum minuman beralkohol di Kelurahan Tosuraya Selatan disimpulkan bahwa sebagian besar responden (88%) memiliki kadar SGPT normal.
