Abstract

Abstract — COVID-19 also known as the Corona Virus, is
a large family of virus that cause disease, ranging from the
common cold to more severe respiratory diseases. The
cases of Corona Virus or COVID-19 began in December
2019, which occurred in China, precisely in Wuhan City,
and Indonesia was also shocked by the virus in March
2020. A global pandemic or epidemic indicates a COVID19 infection that is so fast that no country or region in the
world is absent from the Corona Virus. The increase in the
number of cases occurred in a short time so that it needed
immediate treatment. Unfortunately, until now there is no
specific medicine to treat Corona virus infection cases or
COVID-19. So the purpose of this research is to build an
educational game with an application display using 2
Dimentions (2D) which aims to introduce the importance
of knowledge about the prevention of COVID-19. This
game is built using the Multimedia Development Life
Cycle method which has six stages of concept, design,
collecting material, assembly, testing, and distribution.
The application has a guessing question and three game
levels, each has its own knowledge and difficulties. By
making this educational game that is expected it will be
effective and interesting in learning a healthy, clean
lifestyle and especially knowing how to prevent any virus,
including the corona virus.
