Abstract

Air Susu Ibu (ASI) merupakan makanan yang paling baik untuk bayi karena memiliki kandungan yang dibutuhkan bayi dalam proses tumbuh kembangnya, serta makanan yang paling aman karena terjamin kebersihannya. Usia bayi yang kurang dari 6 bulan jika diberikan makanan tambahan selain ASI dapat mengakibatkan bayi sakit pencernaan seperti diare yang dapat membahayakan kesehatannya. Keberhasilan ibu dalam memberikan ASI secara eksklusif harus didukung oleh keluarga terlebih dukungan suami dalam aspek emosional ibu, peran petugas kesehatan seperti bidan dapat membantu ibu untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri dalam memberikan ASI kepada bayi. Faktor internal ibu pun berpengaruh seperti pengetahuan tetang manfaat ASI , sehingga ibu memiliki motivasi yang kuat. Cakupan ASI eksklusif di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Pineleng Kabupaten Minahasa tahun 2018 sebesar 26,3%. Hasil ini menunjukan Puskesmas Pineleng belum mencapai target Nasional yaitu 80%. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui determinan yang berhubungan dengan pemberian ASI Eksklusif pada bayi usia 6-12 bulan di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Pineleng. Adapun jenis penelitian ini yakni penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode Survey Analitik dengan desain Cross Sectional. Jumlah populasi yaitu 236 ibu dan jumlah sampel yaitu 77 ibu yang mempunyai bayi berusia 6-12 bulan. Analisis data menggunakan uji statistik uji Chi-square. Hasil Penelitian pengetahuan dengan pemberian ASI Eksklusif dengan nilai p value = 0,028 (< 𛼠0,05). Peran tenaga kesehatan dengan pemberian ASI Eksklusif dengan nilai p value = 0,036 (< 𛼠0,05). Peran suami dengan pemberian ASI Eksklusif dengan nilai p value = 0,020 (< 𛼠0,05). Kesimpulan: Adanya hubungan antara pengetahuan, peran tenaga kesehatan, peran suami dengan pemberian ASI Eksklusif

ABSTRACT

Breast milk (ASI) is the best food for babies because it has the content needed by the baby in the process of growth, as well as the safest food because of its cleanliness. The age of the baby is less than 6 months if given additional food other than breast milk can result in digestive pain such as diarrhea that can endanger his health. The success of the mother in giving exclusive breastfeeding must be supported by the family especially the support of the husband in the emotional aspects of the mother, the role of health workers such as midwives can help mothers to increase self-confidence in breastfeeding babies. Mother's internal factors also influence such as knowledge about the benefits of breast milk, so mothers have strong motivation. Coverage of exclusive breastfeeding in the area of Pineleng Public Health Center in Minahasa Regency in 2018 was 26.3%. These results indicate the Pineleng Health Center has not reached the National target of 80%. The purpose of this study was to determine the determinants associated with exclusive breastfeeding in infants aged 6-12 months in the Pineleng Public Health Center. The type of this research is quantitative research with Analytical Survey method with Cross Sectional design. Total population is 236 mothers and the number of samples is 77 mothers who have babies aged 6-12 months. Data analysis using statistical tests Chi-square test. Results of knowledge research with exclusive breastfeeding with p value = 0.028 (<α 0.05). The role of health workers with exclusive breastfeeding with p value = 0.036 (<α 0.05). The role of the husband with exclusive breastfeeding with p value = 0.020 (<α 0.05). Conclusion: There is a relationship between knowledge, the role of health workers, the role of husbands with exclusive breastfeeding
