GAMBARAN PENERAPAN PROGRAM KESELAMATAN DAN KESEHATAN KERJA RUMAH SAKIT (K3RS) DI RUMAH SAKIT ADVENT MANADO

Abstract

Konsep dasar Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Rumah Sakit (K3RS) adalah upaya terpadu seluruh pekerja rumah sakit, pasien, pengunjung/pengantar orang sakit untuk menciptakan lingkungan kerja, tempat kerja rumah sakit yang sehat, aman dan nyaman baik bagi pekerja rumah sakit, pasien, pengunjung/pengantar orang sakit maupun bagi masyarakat dan lingkungan sekitar rumah sakit. Berdasarkan data dari World Health Organization (WHO), dari 35 juta pekerja kesehatan terdapat 3 juta terpajan patogen darah (2 juta terpajan virus HBV, 0,9 juta terpajan virus HBC dan 170,000 terpajan virus HIV/AIDS). Di Amerika Serikat, setiap tahun terdapat 5000 petugas kesehatan terinfeksi Hepatitis B 47 positif HIV dan setiap tahun 600.000–1.000.000 luka tusuk jarum dilaporkan (Keputusan Menteri Kesehatan RI No. 432 Tahun 2007). Jenis penelitian adalah kualitatif untuk menggambarkan penerapan program kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja di Rumah Sakit Advent Manado. Waktu penelitian dilakukan dari Desember 2019 – Februari 2020. Informan penelitian ini berjumlah 7 orang.. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penerapan program keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja rumah sakit yang dilakukan Rumah Sakit Advent Manado sudah berjalan dengan baik tetapi belum sesuai standar karena beberapa program seperti pembinaan dan pengawasan terhadap peralatan keselamatan kerja, pembinaan dan pengawasan manajemen sistem pencegahan dan penanggulangan kebakaran, pemeriksaan kesehatan sebelum bekerja dan pemeriksaan kesehatan secara berkala belum terlaksana secara optimal.

ABSTRACT

The basic concept of Hospital Health and Safety is an integrated effort of all hospital workers, patients, visitors / introductory people to create a work environment, a healthy, safe and comfortable hospital workplace for both hospital workers, patients, visitors / introduction to the sick as well as to the community and the environment around the hospital. Based on data from the World Health Organization (WHO), out of 35 million health workers, 3 million were exposed to blood pathogens (2 million were exposed to the HBV virus, 0.9 million were exposed to the HBC virus and 170,000 were exposed to the HIV / AIDS virus). In the United States, every year there are 5000 health workers infected with HIV positive 47 Hepatitis B and every year 600,000-1,000,000 needling injuries are reported (RI Minister of Health Decree No. 432 of 2007). This type of research is qualitative to illustrate the application of occupational health and safety programs at Manado Adventist Hospital. When the research was conducted from December 2019 - February 2020. The informants of this study amounted to 7 people. The results showed that the implementation of the occupational safety and health program at the Advent Manado Hospital had been going well but was not yet up to standard because several programs such as guidance and supervision for occupational safety equipment, guidance and supervision of fire prevention and management system management, health checks before work and periodic health checks have not been carried out optimally.
