PENGARUH SISTEM INFORMASI ADMINISTRASI KEPENDUDUKAN (SIAK) TERHADAP PELAYANAN PUBLIK DI DINAS KEPENDUDUKAN DAN CATATAN SIPIL KOTA MANADO

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the independent variable, namely the Population
Administration Information System (SIAK) based on indicators (information, humans as information
processing, system concepts, organizational and management concepts, decision-making concepts,
information value) on the dependent variable, namely public services with indicators. (service procedures,
time spent by service users, competence and attitude of service officers, facilities and infrastructure that
are prepared by service providers, holding mechanisms and follow-up on complaints from service users,
evaluation systems and policy planning).
This study uses quantitative research methods with the size of the sample taken is all members of the
population, amounting to 60 people, the instruments and data collection techniques used in this study were
questionnaires and interviews. The simple regression analysis test results show that the influence of
population administration information system variables on public services is a positive and significant
effect, then for the R square value obtained is 0.649. This can be seen as determining the magnitude of the
influence of the population administration information system variable on public services, which is 64.9%.
