Human life always relates with language, so language is very important in our lives. People at least use one language to convey and express their ideas, desire and feelings through communication process with others. The study of pattern to make sentences is syntax. This study is entitled “Minor Sentences in the Film Frozen directed by Chris Buck and Jenifer Lee”.  The aims of this research is to identify, classify, and analyze the types of minor sentence in the film Frozen by Chriss Buck and Jenifer Lee. Theory of Hockett (1958) is used to identify and analyze the data that have been found in the film. According to Hockett, minor sentence is not complete sentence. There are four types of minor sentence, subjectless minor sentence, vocative minor sentence, aphoristic minor sentence and fragmen minor sentence which are sub categorized into three parts, those are completive fragmen minor sentence, special completive fragmen minor sentence and exclamatory minor sentence. The writer used descriptive method to analyze the data.  The result of this research shows that there are only three types of minor sentence which are found in the film, namely subjectless minor sentence, vocative minor sentence and fragmen minor sentence, while aphoristic type is not found in the film. The amount of the data that are found in the film is 115 minor sentences, which are 32 subjectless minor sentence, 30 vocative minor sentence, 53 fragmen minor sentence. This study is expected to provide more information about minor sentence to the readers.
