                                                     ABSTARCT

In analyzing the data, the researcher used a simple statistical analysis from the students’ pre-test and post-test score. The research finding showed that Total Physical Response method can improve students’ English vocabulary. This could be proven by looking at the increasing students’ post-test result after the implementation of Total Physical Response method in the learning process. The students got 65 in average from the result of pre-test and it has been increased for the post-test, the students’ got 92. In average result of post-test was higher than pre-test’s average result. The students’ score improved by 42% after the implementation of TPR. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that Total Physical Response is effective in improving students’ vocabulary.
