The educational system across the world has immensely been affected due to outbreak of Covid-19. In the absence of traditional classroom teaching, online learning has emerged as closest substitute for offline teaching. Against such a backdrop, it is pertinent to examine the students’ perception about online learning system adopted at the university level during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. This research aims to identify the students’ perceptions on the ease of use and usefulness of online learning based on Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and to analyze the factors influencing students’ perceptions towards English online learning especially in EFL context. For the present study, the descriptive approach with survei method has been adopted and responses from 97 students of English Department of Sam Ratulangi University were collected through online questionnaire and structured interviews. Purposive sampling was used to obtain the sample and ten students were interviewed to seek more information about their experiences during the learning process. The findings of the study reveal students’ positive perception towards online learning and thus acceptance of the new learning system. It has also empirically demonstrated the significance of online learning in the time of Covid-19 crisis. There were several factors that influence the students’ perception, which were the perceiver, the object, and the situation.
