Abstract


                                                        ABSTRACT

     The Covid-19 pandemic has forced global physical closure of education by pushing all institutions to migrate to e-learning platforms. E-learning is certainly related to technology and communication, the development of technology in the world of education is swift and massive in the teaching activity and learning process especially in Sam Ratulangi University. This study used a mixed-method approach, and the instruments used was Likert Scale questionnaires and semi-structured interviews. The sampling technique for interviews used purposive sampling with certain criteria and the questionnaires were distributed to all populations.The population is all the students who contracted Australian Pacific Studies and English Language Teaching Class B, with the total of 69 students.The findings of the study reveal students’ positive perceptions towards Unsrat e-learning Platform. It has also empirically demonstrated the significance of Unsrat e-learning Platform in the time of Covid-19 pandemic.The negative perceptions reveal that the challenges faced by students were in the form of technical problems.There were several factors that influenced the students’ perceptions, which were the perceiver, the object, and the situation. The majority of students with an average percentage of more than 60% agreed that the Unsrat e-learning platform has many benefits,and it made it easier for students to study during the Covid-19 pandemic.
