     This study entitled “Code Mixing Used by Sacha Stevenson on her Instagram Postings” is an analysis of sociolinguistic investigation that focuses on one aspect called code mixing. This research is an attempt to identify the types of code mixing and analyze the functions of code mixing in Sacha Stevenson Instagram Postings. The research uses descriptive qualitative method. The collected data were taken from the collection of Sacha Stevenson Instagram Postings. To identify and classify code mixing, the writer used the theory of Muysken (2000), and to analyze and describe it, the writer used the theory of Hoffman (1991). The results of this research show that there are three types of code mixing, namely insertion, alternation, congruent lexicalization, and seven functions of code mixing, namely talking about particular topic, being emphatic about something, interjection, repetition used for clarification, expressing group identity, intention of clarifying the speech content for interlocutor, quoting somebody else in Sacha Stevenson Instagram postings.
