                                                  ABSTRAK

     Penelitian ini berjudul Analisis Psikologi Tokoh Utama dalam Novel Mariposa Karya Luluk H.F. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi, mengklasifikasi, menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan unsur-unsur psikologi tokoh utama dalam novel Mariposa karya Luluk H.F. Teori yang digunakan yaitu teori kepribadian Sigmund Freud, serta metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik baca dan catat, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan menganalisis semua data yang telah diidentifikasi, lalu mengklasifikasi data yang dapat mewakili karakter tokoh yang menandakan psikologi yang mengandung unsur id, ego dan superego. Kemudian hasil analisis akan disajikan dalam bentuk deskripsi, hasil yang diperoleh dideskripsikan secara sistematis dan faktual. Hasil analisis dari penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa unsur psikologi dalam tokoh utama novel Mariposa karya Luluk H.F, terdapat 25 unsur id, 23 unsur ego dan 4 unsur superego. Dengan kata lain, tokoh utama (Acha) lebih banyak melakukan tindakan berdasarkan kepada prinsip kesenangan, mengikuti apa yang membuat ia nyaman dan selalu menghindari hal yang membuat ia tidak nyaman.

                                                     ABSTRACT

     This research is entitled Psychological Analysis of the Main Character in Mariposa Novel by Luluk H.F. This study aims to identify, classify, analyze and describe the psychological elements of the main character in the novel Mariposa by Luluk H.F. The theory used is Sigmund Freud's personality theory, and the method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive research method, the data collection technique was carried out by reading and note-taking techniques, then continued by analyzing all the data that had been identified, then classifying the data that could represent the characters' characters. which signifies psychology that contains elements of the id, ego and superego. Then the results of the analysis will be presented in the form of a description, the results obtained are described systematically and factually. The results of the analysis of this study concluded that the psychological elements in the main character of the novel Mariposa by Luluk H.F, there are 25 elements of the id, 23 elements of the ego and 4 elements of the superego. In other words, the main character (Acha) acts more based on the pleasure principle, follows what makes him comfortable and always avoids things that make him uncomfortable.
