HUBUNGAN DUKUNGAN SOSIAL DENGAN KUALITAS HIDUP PADA PASIEN TUBEKULOSIS PARU DI POLI PARU BLU RSUP PROF. DR. R. D KANDOU MANADO

Abstract

Abstract : Someone will seek social support from people around so that he feel valued, cared for and loved. So it is with people with such chronic pulmonary tuberculosis should receive more social support, due to the social support of those people can reduce the psychological burden associated with the disease, so as to improve the quality of life, (PPTI Journal, 2012). Research objectives: to determine the relationship between social support with quality of life in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis in lung Polyclinic BLU Prof. DR. R D Kandou Manado hospital. Research design: an observational analytic cross sectional approach. Population taken is suffering from tuberculosis patients with smear (+) and the sample using purposive sampling technique with a number of 97 respondents. Data collection through primary data and secondary data. Results: From the results of hypothesis testing using the Spearman rank correlation test at 99% confidence level (α = 0.01), where the value of rho (correlation coeffisient) of 0.881 and p-value of 0.000 (p-value = <0.01) , this shows that the higher the social support, the higher the quality of life and show that there is a significant relationship between social support with quality of life in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis in lung Polyclinic BLU Prof DR. R. D Kandou Manado Manado. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between social support with quality of life.

Abstrak :Seseorang akan mencari dukungan sosial dari orang-orang sekitar sehingga dirinya merasa dihargai, diperhatikan dan dicintai. Demikian halnya dengan penderita kronis seperti TB paru perlu mendapat dukungan sosial lebih, karena dengan dukungan sosial dari orang-orang tersebut dapat mengurangi beban psikologis berhubungan dengan  penyakit yang dideritanya, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kulitas hidupnya, (Jurnal PPTI, 2012). Tujuanpenelitian : untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan sosial dengan kualitas hidup pada pasien tuberkulosis paru di Poliklininik Paru BLU RSUP Prof Dr. R. D Kandou Manado. Desain Penelitian: observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi yang diambil adalah pasien yang menderita tuberkulosis dengan BTA (+) dan sampel penelitian menggunakan tekhnik purposive sampling dengan jumlah 97 responden. Pengumpulan data melalui data primer dan data sekunder. Hasil Penelitian : Dari hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji korelasi spearman rank pada tingkat kepercayaan 99% (α = 0,01), dimana nilai rho(correlation coeffisient) sebesar  0,881 dan nilai p-value 0,000 (p-value = < 0,01), hal ini menunjukan bahwa semakin tinggi dukungan sosial maka semakin tinggi pula kualitas hidup dan menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan yang sangat bermakna antara dukungan sosial dengan kualitas hidup pada penderita tuberkulosis paru di Poliklinik Paru BLU RSUP Prof. Dr. R. D Kandou Manado. Kesimpulan: Ada hubungan yang sangat bermakna antara dukungan sosial dengan kualitas hidup.
