HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN PERAWAT DENGAN PENERAPAN IDENTIFY PATIENT CORRECLY DI RSUP RATATOTOK BUYAT KABUPATEN MINAHASA TENGGARA

Abstract

Abstract: Patient safety is a system that focused on improving the quality of health services. Focus about this patient safety is motivate by a high rate of incidence of the adverse event in hospital. And one of the adverse event was caused by an error in identifying patients correctly. In an effort to build patient safety requires a commitment that influenced by knowledge of nurses and a nurse must implemented the best knowledge who nurses have. The purpose of this research to analyze the relationship between the knowledge of nurses with the implementation of identify patient correctly in Ratatotok Buyat general hospital center. The design of this research is descriptif analitic with approximation cross sectional. The research fulfiled on august 2014 in RSUP Ratatotok Buyat with 48 sample. The result of this research is counted used chi-square test and get p = 0,012 (α<0,05), that meaningless H0 refused. The conclusion of this research is found a relationship between knowledge of nurses with the implementation of identify patient correctly in Ratatotok Buyat general hospital center South-East Minahasa regency. The suggestion for hospitals in order to create a policy for patient identification bracelet or mounting board patient identity so that in the future may be more qualited hospitals in the prevention process of adverse event.

Abstrak:Patient Safety (keselamatan pasien) merupakan suatu sistem yang difokuskan untuk meningkatkan mutu pelayanan kesehatan. Fokus tentang keselamatan pasien ini didorong oleh masih tingginya angka Kejadian Tidak Diharapkan (KTD)/ Adverse Event di rumah sakit.Dan salah satu KTD diakibatkan oleh masih adanya kesalahan dalam mengidentifikasi pasien secara benar.Dalam upaya membangun keselamatan pasien memerlukan komitmen yang di pengaruhi oleh pengetahuan perawat dan seorang perawat harus menerapkan pengetahuan terbaik yang dimilikinya.Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis hubungan pengetahuan perawat dengan penerapan identify patient correctly di RSUP Ratatotok Buyat. Desain penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan agustus 2014 di RSUP Ratatotok Buyat dengan 48 sampel.Hasil penelitian dihitung dengan menggunakan Uji Chi-square dan diperoleh p = 0,012 (α 0,05), yang berarti H0 ditolak. Kesimpulan terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan perawat dengan penerapan identify patient correctly di RSUP. Ratatotok Buyat Kabupaten Minahasa Tenggara. Saran bagi rumah sakit agar dapat membuat kebijakan untuk pemasangan gelang identitas pasien atau papan identitas pasien secara menyeluruh agar kedepannya nanti rumah sakit dapat lebih berkualitas dalam proses pencegahan Kejadian Tidak Diharapkan (KTD).
