HUBUNGAN KONSUMSI ALKOHOL DENGAN KADAR TRIGLISERIDA PADA MAHASISWA
Abstract
Abstract: Triglyceride are a form of fat stored in the body that functions as an energy source. Increased triglycerides consentrate in the blood can be influenced by age, high-fat diets, protein and carbohydrates, physical activity and lifestyle such as smoking and alcohol consumption. Eating more than 30 grams of alcohol per day can increase the risk of increasing triglyceride levels. This study aims to see the relationship of alcohol consumption on college students with triglyceride levels. This type of research is descriptive analytic with a cross-sectional study design. Sampling was done by purposive sampling, with samples of 31 people aged 18-25 years, male sex and 50-150mg / week of alcohol consumption. Statistical analysis was performed by Shapiro-Wilk test to determine the normality of sample distribution, Spearman Correlation Test to see the association between the consumption of alcohol and triglyceride levels. The statistical results showed that there was no relationship on the frequency of alcohol consumption (p = 0.401 or p> 0.05) and the duration of alcohol consumption (p = 0.231 or p> 0.05) while the amount of alcohol consumption had an relationship (p = 0.019 or p <0 , 05). Conclusion: There is no relationship between the frequency and duration of alcohol consumption while there is an relationship on the amount of alcohol consumption

Abstrak : Trigliserida merupakan bentuk simpanan lemak di dalam tubuh yang berfungsi sebagai sumber energi. Peningkatan trigliserida dalam darah dapat dipengaruhi oleh usia, diet tinggi lemak, protein dan karbohitat, aktivitas fisik dan gaya hidup seperti merokok dan konsumsi alkohol. Mengonsumsi alkohol lebih dari 30 gram per hari dapat meningkatkan kadar trigliserida dalam tubuh dan risiko peningkatkan kadar trigliserida. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis hubungan antar konsumsi alkohol dengan kadar trigliserida mahasiswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analitik dengan rancangan cross-sectional study. Pengambilan sampel secara purposive sampling, diperoleh sampel sebanyak 31 orang yang berusai 18-25 tahun, jenis kelamin laki-laki dan mengonsumsi alkohol 50-150mg/minggu. Analisis statistik dilakukan dengan uji Shapiro-Wilk untuk mengetahui normalitas distribusi sampel, uji korelasi-spearman untuk melihat hubungan asosiasi antara konsumsi alkohol dengan kadar trigliserida. Hasil statistik menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan frekuensi konsumsi alkohol (p=0,401 atau p> 0,05) dan lamanya mengonsumsi alkohol (p=0,231 atau p>0,05) sedangkan untuk jumlah konsumsi alkohol terdapat hubungan (p=0,019 atau p<0,05). Simpulan : Tidak terdapat hubungan antara frekuensi dan lamanya konsumsi alkohol, tetapi terdapat hubungan jumlah konsumsi alkohol.
