KEANEKARAGAMAN JENIS, KEPADATAN, DOMINANSI, DAN POLA PENYEBARAN ALGA HIJAU DI PERAIRAN PANTAI KALASEY MINAHASA SULAWESI UTAR

Abstract

At the study site found sandy, muddy, sand mixed with dead coral, broken coral and rock substrates. Overall, the dominant substrate is sand mixed with silt. The surface temperature of the waters at the study site at the time of sampling based on environmental parameter measurements was 33°C, which means that the temperature at the research location is considered ideal. The salinity value at the time of sampling in Kalasey waters was 30‰. Based on the results of measuring the pH using a PH meter, the value obtained was 7. There were 4 species of green algae at the study site, almost all types of green algae had a dominant density such as Acetabularia acetabulum and some had relatively less density such as Halimeda opuntia. The diversity of Hʹ index values indicates Moderate diversity and moderate community conditions, there are several species that dominate these waters such as Acetabularia acetabulum whose number is more than the other species.
