GAMBARAN PERILAKU HIDUP BERSIH DAN SEHAT (PHBS) PADA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR NEGERI INPRES KARATUNG KECAMATAN MANGANITU KABUPATEN SANGIHE

Abstract


Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) adalah sekumpulan perilaku yang dipraktikkan atas dasar kesadaran sebagai hasil pembelajaran, yang menjadikan seseorang mampu menolong dirinya sendiri (mandiri) di bidang kesehatan dan berperan aktif dalam mewujudkan kesehatan masyarakat. Sesuai data yang diperoleh dari Puskesmas Manganitu menunjukan bahwa masih banyak anak – anak usia sekolah yang sering terserang penyakit akibat kurangnya pengetahuan tentang PHBS. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Gambaran Perilaku Siswa Sekolah Dasar Negeri Inpres Karatung tentang Perilaku Hidup Bersih Dan Sehat Sekolah.

Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian observasional. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas I sampai kelas VI yang berjumlah 73 siswa. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu total populasi dan jumlah sampelnya 73 siswa.

Hasil penelitian menunjukan responden yang memiliki pengetahuan baik sebanyak 44 responden (60,3%) dan yang memiliki pengetahuan tidak baik sebanyak 29 responden (39,7%). Siswa yang memiliki sikap baik sebanyak 49 siswa (67,1%) dan yang memiliki sikap yang kurang baik 24 siswa (32,9%). Siswa yang memiliki tindakan yang baik sebanyak 54 siswa (74,0%) dan yang memiliki tindakan yang kurang baik sebanyak 19 siswa (26,0%).

Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah rata-rata pengetahun, sikap, dan tindakan siswa tentang PHBS sekolah sudah baik akan tetapi harus ditingkatkan lagi agar menambah pengetahuan, sikap, dan tindakan siswa terhadap PHBS. Disarankan terus mengembangkan program UKS, meningkatkan kegiatan kurikuler dan ekstrakurikuler dalam bidang kesehatan, mengadakan penyuluhan tentang PHBS.

ABSTRACT

Behavior of Clean and Healthy Lifestyle was a set of behaviors that was practiced on the basis of consciousness as a result of learning, which makes a person able to help themselves (independently) in health and play an active role in creating of public health. Based on the data which obtained from Public Health Center of Manganitu shows that there are still many school-age children were often attacked by diseases due to lack of knowledge of Behavior of Clean and Healthy Lifestyle. The purpose of this study was to determine the Behavior Overview of Public Elementary School’s Student of Karatung about Clean and Healthy behavior of the Schools.

This study was an observational research. The population in this study was all students of class I to class VI totaling 73 students. The sampling method that used was the total population and the sample size was 73 students.

The results showed that the respondents who have a good knowledge were amount to 44 respondents (60.3%) and having poorly knowledge were 29 respondents (39.7%). The students who have a favorable attitude were amount to 49 students (67.1%) and those with unfavorable attitudes were 24 students (32.9%). The students who have an appropriate action amount to 54 students (74.0%) and those with deficient action were 19 students (26.0%).              

The conclusion of this study was the average of the knowledge, attitudes, and actions of students of school’s behavior of clean and healthy lifestyle are good enough, however must be improved in order to increase the students’ knowledge, attitudes, and actions of Clean and Healthy Lifestyle Behavior. Advised to keep developing the School Health Unit program, improve curricular and extracurricular activities in the field of health, providing extension of Clean and Healthy Lifestyle Behavior.
