ANALISIS KANDUNGAN SENG (Zn) DALAM AIR, SEDIMEN KERANG DAN IKAN DI SUNGAI TONDANO TAHUN 2017

Abstract


Seng (Zn) merupakan unsur penting untuk pertumbuhan manusia, hewan, maupun tanaman.Logam ini memiliki karakteristik cukup reaktif, berwarna putih kebiruan, dan terbakar bila terkena udara.Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui kadar Zn dalam air, sedimen, kerang dan ikan di sungai Tondano.Penelitian ini merupakan survei deskriptif berbasis laboratorium dengan pemeriksaan kandungan logam berat Zn dalam air, sedimen, kerang dan ikan.Sampel penelitian ini merupakan air, sedimen, kerang dan ikan yang diambil di tiga titik sungai tondano. Sampel yang diambil diperiksa di laboratorium Badan Riset dan Standarisasi Industri Kota Manado. Untuk sampel air digunakan metode SNI 6989.7:2009dan untuk sampel padatan menggunakan metode AAS (Atomic Absorption Spektometri).Hasil pemeriksaan laboratorium sampel air dibandingkan dengan PP No. 82 tahun 2001, sampel sedimen dibandingkan dengan Sediment Quality Standards, WAC 172-204-320, sampel ikan dibandingkan dengan SK Ditjend POM Depkes RI No.03725/B/SK/1989, sampel kerang dibandingkan dengan ketetapan FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations) pada tahun 1983.Hasil pemeriksaan laboratorium menunjukan kadar Zn tertinggi untuk air 1,12 mg / L, untuk sedimen 917,57 ppm, untuk kerang 1162,08 ppm, untuk ikan 323,68 ppm.Hasil pemeriksaan menunjukan air, sedimen, kerang dan ikan di sungai Tondano telah tercemar Zn.Hasil pengukuran membuktikan bahwa masyarakat di sekitar sungai Tondano harus lebih meningkatkan pengawasan dengan pembuatan regulasi tentang pembuangan limbah ke sungai.

ABSTRACT
Zinc (Zn) is an important element for human, animals, and plants. These metals have enough reactive characteristics, were bluish-white and burned when exposed to air. The purpose of this study was to determined the level of Zn in water, sediment, shellfish and fish in the Tondano river. This research was a laboratory-based descriptive survey with examination of heavy metal content of Zn in water, sediment, shellfish and fish. The sample of this research were water, sediment, shellfish and fish taken at three points of Tondano river. Samples were examined in the laboratory of Manado Industry Research and Standards Agency. Water samples were used SNI 6989.7: 2009 method and for solid samples using AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectometry) method. Results of laboratory examination for water samples would be compared with PP. 82 of 2001, sediment samples compared with Sediment Quality Standards, WAC 172-204-320, fish samples compared with SK Ditjend POM MOH RI No.03725 / B / SK / 1989, shellfish samples compared with the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization the United Nations) in 1983. Laboratory results showed the highest Zn levels for water was 1.12 mg / L, for sediments was 917.57 ppm, for shells was 1162.08 ppm, for fish was 323.68 ppm. The results showed that water, sediment, shellfish and fish in the Tondano river had been contaminated with Zn. The measurement results prove that peoplearound the Tondano river should making regulations about the disposal of waste into the river.
