GAMBARAN AKTIVITAS FISIK MAHASISWA SEMESTER II FAKULTAS KESEHATAN MASYARAKAT UNIVERSITAS SAM RATULANGI SAAT PEMBATASAN SOSIAL MASA PANDEMI COVID-19

Abstract


Aktivitas fisik memberikan manfaat yang baik bagi tubuh. Terlebih khusus saat masa pandemi Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), melakukan aktivitas fisik secara teratur memberikan manfaat yang baik serta dapat meningkatkan sistem kekebalan tubuh sehingga dapat mengurangi risiko penularan virus COVID-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran aktivitas fisik mahasiswa semester II Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat Universitas Sam Ratulangi saat pembatasan sosial masa pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian survei deskriptif, yang dilaksanakan di Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat Universitas Sam Ratulangi pada bulan Mei sampai Oktober 2020. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester II Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat Universitas Sam Ratulangi, dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 185 mahasiswa tetapi yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi yaitu sebanyak 120 mahasiswa dan yang bersedia untuk mengisi kuesioner Recall 2 x 24 Jam yaitu sebanyak 100 mahasiswa. Alat ukur penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner International Physical Activity Questionnaire dan kuesioner Recall 2 x 24 jam. Hasil penelitian ini berdasarkan International Physical Activity Questionnaire menunjukan, mayoritas responden memiliki tingkat aktivitas fisik sedang sebanyak 56 mahasiswa (46,7%), berdasarkan Recall 2 x 24 jam menunjukan mayoritas responden memilki tingkat aktivitas fisik ringan sebanyak 96 mahasiswa (96,0%).

ABSTRACT

Physical activity provides good benefits for the body. Especially during the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, regular physical activity provides good benefits and can boost the immune system so that it can reduce the risk of transmission of the COVID-19 virus. This study aims to determine the description of the physical activity of the second semester students of the Faculty of Public Health, Sam Ratulangi University during social restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research is a quantitative study with a descriptive survey research design, which was conducted at the Faculty of Public Health, Sam Ratulangi University in May to October 2020. The subjects of this study were second semester students of the Faculty of Public Health, Sam Ratulangi University, with a total population of 185 students but those who met the inclusion criteria were 120 students and those who were willing to fill out the 2 x 24 hour recall questionnaire were 100 students. The results of this study based on the International Physical Activity Questionnaire showed that the majority of respondents have a moderate level of physical activity as many as 56 students (46.7%).
