ANALISIS KANDUNGAN METHANYL YELLOW PADA NASI KUNING DI AREA KAMPUS UNIVERSITAS SAM RATULANGI, JALAN BETESDHA, AN JALAN PIERE TENDEAN KOTA MANADO TAHUN 2020
Abstract
Nasi kuning merupakan hidangan nasi berwarna kuning yang merupakan ciri khas makanan Indonesia, oleh karna itu keamanan pangan dari makanan harus tetap terjaga agar tidak berdampak pada kesehatan. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya kandungan methanyl yellow pada nasi kuning di area kampus Universitas Sam Ratulangi, Jalan Bethesda, Jalan Piere Tendean. Metode penelitian penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskritif dengan pemeriksaan laboratorium. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu 15 nasi kuning yang terdapat di area Kampus Universitas Sam Ratulangi, Jalan Bethesda, Jalan Piere Tendean, kemuadian melakukan pemeriksaan di laboratorium dengan menggunakan metode Kromatografi Kertas. Hasil Penelitian yaitu berdasarkan hasil peneltian yang telah dilakukan pada 15 sampel nasi kuning dan dilakukan analisis di laboratorium BBPOM menunjukan 15 sampel nasi kuning tersebut tidak terdapat kandungan Methanyl yellow. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu nasi kuning yang dijual di area kampus Universitas Sam Ratulangi, Jalan Bethesda, Jalan Piere Tendean, masih aman dikonsumsi karena tidak adanya kandungan methanyl yellow yang terkandung sehingga menunjukan nasi kuning tersebut memenuhi syarat yang di tetapkan oleh Permenkes RI No. 033 Tahun 2012.

ABSTRACT
Research Background Yellow rice is a yellow rice dish which is a characteristic of Indonesian food, therefore food safety from food must continue to occur so as not to have an impact on health. Food additives added to food must comply with regulated requirements, namely it is not allowed to add synthetic dyes including methanyl yellow because it can have an impact on health. Research Purposes find out whether there is Methanyl yellow content in yellow rice in the Sam Ratulangi University Campus area, Jalan Bethesda, Jalan Piere Tendean. Research Method This research is a descriptive research with laboratory examination. The population in this study were 15 yellow rice found in the Sam Ratulangi University Campus area, Bethesda Street, Piere Tendean Street, then carried out examinations in the laboratory using the Paper Chromatography method. Research Result Based on the results of research that has been carried out on 15 samples of yellow rice and an analysis was carried out in the BBPOM laboratory, it showed that 15 samples of yellow rice did not contain Methanyl yellow. Conclusion The yellow rice sold in the Sam Ratulangi University Campus area, Bethesda Street, Piere Tendean Street, is still safe to eat because there is no methanyl yellow contained, so it shows that the yellow rice meets the requirements set by the Republic of Indonesia Regulation No. 033 of 2012
