Abstract

ABSTRACT

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a newly discovered disease in Wuhan, China. The disease has contributed to millions of morbidity rates as well as mortality worldwide. Prevention efforts continue to be appealed by the government to the community. The prevention efforts include 3M and Vaccination. This study aims to find out the correlation between COVID-19 prevention efforts and COVID-19 positive confirmation rates in Indonesia using secondary data analysis methods with a total sample of 514 districts/cities in Indonesia. The compliance of wearing masks and compliance of physical distancing & avoiding crowds variables used 463 districts/cities data since there are as many as 51 districts/cities data period of each variable from July 31, 2021 - October 17, 2021, are not available. The analysis of the study used the Spearman Rho test with a significance level of 0.05. The results discover a correlation between COVID-19 vaccination and COVID-19 positive confirmation rate that is determinate (p-value 0.679 > 0.05), a correlation between compliance in wearing masks with a positive confirmation rate of COVID-19 (p-value -0.240 < 0.05), and a correlation between the compliance of physical distancing & avoiding crowds variables (p-value -0.125).
