Abstract

The level of landslide vulnerability in Manganitu Sub-district of Sangihe Islands Regency is at the vulnerable level and has not been documented in maps. Landslide vulnerability level mapping using ArcGIS and ArcToolbox using IDW and Kriging interpolation methods. The points are processed using covariance modeling and an 8-point neighborhood to produce a distribution and then overlaid on the basic administrative map. The mapping results are divided into 5 maps of soil type, rainfall, spatial pattern, slope, landslides prone area, and landslide prone location points. The landslide occurrence points obtained range from very prone to very safe. From the results, 12 points of landslides were obtained, 5 in landslide prone areas and 7 in safe areas.
