EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE is a subject matter given to students in the Underwater Ecotourism study program which aims to provide students with the knowledge and skills to become a responder who provides first aid in accidents. So as a form of community service, students implement this field activity in Darunu Village, Wori District or better known as Mangore Darunu Tourism Village, where this village is a fostered village of the Manado State Polytechnic, Department of Tourism in developing its tourism. Emergency First Response (EFR) needs to be trained for the community because as a tourist destination visited by various guests, it is necessary to know things about providing first aid if guests or the community themselves experience a medical emergency, because being a 'savior' is not necessarily a doctor or paramedic, but literally anyone can do this, even those who do not have medical training: every citizen can be a 'savior' when he intervenes to help others, while waiting for the arrival of more qualified assistance, such as medical personnel</em></p> 2024-11-10T00:00:00+08:00 Hak Cipta (c) 2024 maykel Karauwan, Jeanlly Solang, Youdy Gumolili, Frans Rattu, Alma Pongtuluran, Mex Pesik, Dannie Oroh https://ejournal.unsrat.ac.id/v3/index.php/TTJPM/article/view/58482 Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Petani Pemakai Air Nawanua Dalam Mengimplementasikan Pengembangan Jaringan Irigasi Yang Berwawasan Lingkungan 2024-10-04T08:52:31+08:00 Liany Amelia Hendratta lianyhendratta@gmail.com Mecky R. The preparation according to some experts should be started since the primary school stage. However, not all primary schools in Indonesia, particularly in Manado, North Sulawesi have the privilege to have the English Language taught properly in schools. The case lies with one of private primary schools in Malalayang, Manado that is at SD GMIM 07 Malalayang. The primary school has lacked English teachers for quite a while and as a result, the students have been taught by other subject teachers or many times, there were not any English lessons taught for the students. Therefore, to bridge this gap, a community service (PKM) was carried out at the school in a form of English training given to the 5th graders of the school for 10 times. The approach used for the teaching practices was an eclectic approach coupled with communicative approach and other combinations of methods necessary to teach to young learners with very low level of English proficiency. Methods such as Total Physical Response (TPR), Audio Lingual Method (ALM), Communicative Language Teaching (CLT), Task-based Learning (TBL), and Desuggestopedia were implemented in the classroom. Delivered with games, songs, and gestures, the English training was received enthusiastically and excitingly by the students. The result of the vocabulary test achievement at the end of the training was proven not disappointing, that is 73, which is quite good, considering the fact that the students’ English mastery is still very low at the beginning of the training.</em></p> 2024-11-10T00:00:00+08:00 Hak Cipta (c) 2024 Andriyani Marentek, Golda J. Wineru village has an area of 750 hectares. Currently, Wineru village is undergoing a lot of construction, especially the construction of houses. The main objective of this service is the construction of permanent concrete houses that are livable or in accordance with the government program called Rumah Layak Huni (RLH). The availability of livable houses for the people of Wineru Village can be done by following the principles of RLH development in accordance with government guidelines. Starting from the planning process, implementation, to evaluation. All of these stages must be carried out following the guidelines issued by the government through the Ministry of Public Works and Housing. Thus the people of Wineru village got a good understanding of the program to improve the quality of uninhabitable houses to meet health and safety standards, so that the community is ready to implement the program in due time.
