STRATEGI KOMUNIKASI RADIO REPUBLIK INDONESIA MANADO PROGRAMA 1 DALAM MEMBANGUN KESADARAN MEMBUANG SAMPAH PLASTIK DI WINANGUN KOTA MANADO

Abstract

Plastic waste is an environmental issue requiring effective public communication. This study examines the communication strategy of RRI Manado Programa 1 in conveying plastic waste management messages. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation involving RRI personnel and listeners in Winangun Village. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model. The findings show that RRI’s strategy involves message planning, broadcast implementation, and evaluation, using informative and persuasive formats to promote environmental awareness. The strategy contributes to listeners’ understanding and awareness of plastic waste management
