DAMPAK COVID-19 TERHADAP USAHA SOMA PAJEKO DI DESA DALUM KECAMATAN SALIBABU KABUPATEN KEPULAUAN TALAUD PROVINSI SULAWESI UTARA

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how the impact of Covid-19 on labor, marketing and income in the Malalugis soma pajeko business in Dalum Village, Salibabu District, Talaud Islands Regency, North Sulawesi Province.

The method in this study was a census on 2 Soma Pajeko business owners and 8 crew members (Ship's crew) using structured questions in the form of a questionnaire, while the data collected were primary data and secondary data. The analysis in this research is quantitative and qualitative analysis.

The results of research and discussion of Covid-19 affect the soma pajeko business in Dalum Village, there are workers who have to find side jobs to increase family income. Fish on the market decreased, which is usually 6000-7000 per kg, but due to Covid-19 the price of fish became 5000 per kg as a result, the income in the Soma Pajeko business decreased.

Income at the Soma Pajeko business 1. Thanks to the business, which usually net income per trip is Rp. 16,200,000 because the selling price of fish in the market decreases, the income also decreases to Rp. 13,500,000. While in the Soma Pajeko 2. Malalugis business, which usually net income is Rp. 54,000,000 per trip. Due to the covid-19, income has decreased to Rp. 45,000,000 per trip. Covid-19 has no effect on the number of catches but on the marketing of the catch.

Abstrak

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana dampak Covid- 19 terhadap tenaga kerja, pemasaran dan pendapatan pada usaha soma pajeko Malalugis di Desa Dalum Kecamatan Salibabu Kabupaten Kepulauan Talaud Provinsi Sulawesi Utara.

Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah sensus pada 2 pemilik usaha soma pajeko dan 8 ABK (Anak Buah Kapal) dengan menggunakan pertanyaan terstruktur yaitu berupa kuisioner, sedangkan data yang dikumpulkan yaitu data primer dan data sekunder. Analisis dalam penelitian ini yaitu analisis kuantitatif dan kualitatif.

Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan Covid-19 mempengaruhi usaha soma pajeko yang ada di Desa Dalum ada tenaga yang harus mencari pekerjan sampingan untuk menambah pendapatan keluarga.Pemasaran ikan harus terhambat akibat adanya Pembatasan Sosial Berkala Besar (PSBB) akibatnya ada ikan yang mengalami kemunduran mutu, harga ikan di pasaran menurun yang biasa 6000-7000 per kg tapi karena ada covid-19 harga ikan menjadi 5000 per kg akibatnya pendapatan pada usaha soma pajeko mengalami penurunan.

Pendapatan pada usaha soma Pajeko 1.Berkat Usaha yang biasanya hasil bersih per trip adalah Rp.16.200.000 dikarenakan harga jual ikan dipasaran menurun pendapatan juga menurun menjadi Rp.13.500.000. sedangkan pada usaha soma pajeko 2. Malalugis yang biasanya hasil bersih Rp.54.000.000 per trip Karena adanya covid-19 pendapatan menurun menjadi Rp.45.000.000 per trip. Covid-19 tidak berpengaruh pada Jumlah tangkapan tapi pada pemasaran hasil tangkapan.
