ANALISIS SOSIAL EKONOMI NELAYAN USAHA PANCING ULUR (HAND LINE) DI KELURAHAN MALALAYANG SATU TIMUR KECAMATAN MALALAYANG KOTA MANADO

Abstract

The socio-economic condition of fishermen is a problem faced by fishing communities and has become the main factor in determining the level of welfare, especially in the East Malalayang Satu Village, Malalayang District, Manado City. Analysis of social conditions: Fishermen's education is elementary school (15%), junior high school (50%) and high school (35%); it is known that all respondents have the same religion, namely Protestant Christianity; the age of fishermen ranges from 21 years to 70 years, the majority are of productive age (80%); Analysis of the economic situation: The investment capital required for a fishing business such as a hand line business is around Rp. 7,700,000; the total fixed costs incurred in the hand line business in the Malalayang Satu Timur Village, Malalayang District, Manado City per year amounted to Rp. 1,680,000. Overall, the non-fixed costs of the hand line business amounted to Rp. 12,910,000. For 65% of hand line fishermen have an income of 41,000,000 - 50,000,000. The highest respondents' expenditures were 9 (45%) of the total respondents with expenditures of 10,100,000–11,000,000.

Abstrak

Keadaan sosial ekonomi nelayan merupakan masalah yang dihadapi masyarakat nelayan sudah menjadi faktor utama menentukan tingkat kesejahteraan khususnya di Kelurahan Malalayang Satu Timur Kecamatan Malalayang Kota Manado. Analisis keadaan sosial: Pendidikan nelayan yaitu berpendidikan SD (15%), SMP (50%) dan SMA (35%); agama nelayan pancing ulur diketahui seluruh responden memiliki agama yang sama yaitu Kristen Protestan; umur dari nelayan berkisar antara umur 21 tahun sampai 70 tahun, mayoritas berada pada umur produktif (80%); Analisis keadaan ekonomi: Modal investasi yang dibutuhkan untuk usaha perikanan seperti pada usaha pancing ulur sekitar Rp. 7.700.000; total biaya tetap yang dikeluarkan pada usaha pancing ulur di Kelurahan Malalayang Satu Timur Kecamatan Malalayang Kota Manado per tahun berjumlah Rp. 1.680.000. Secara keseluruhan biaya tidak tetap pada usaha pancing ulur berjumlah Rp. 12.910.000. Untuk 65% nelayan pancing ulur mempunyai pendapatan sebesar 41.000.000 - 50.000.000. Pengeluaran responden yang tertinggi yaitu 9 (45%) dari jumlah responden dengan pengeluaran 10.100.000–11.000.000.
