VALUASI EKONOMI EKOSISTEM SUMBERDAYA PESISIR DAN LAUT TERHADAP PERIKANAN TUNA SIRIP KUNING DI KOTA JAYAPURA

Jayapura city as a coastal area, has the advantage of being the largest yellowfin tuna producer in Papua Province. This potential must continue to be utilized in a sustainable manner in supporting regional development in the City of Jayapura and the welfare of the community, so that this can be created, data on the economic value of yellowfin tuna fisheries is needed which will be used as a basis for the management of yellowfin tuna fisheries in the future. The research objective was to identify the value of the benefits of coastal and marine ecosystems on the yellowfin tuna fishery in Jayapura City. The type of data used in the form of primary data includes data on the amount of yellowfin tuna fishery production and secondary. Respondents of the study were 35 households, namely fishermen who caught yellowfin tuna. Determination of the research sample using stratified random sampling method. The data analysis method used is: Economic Valuation Analysis. The results of the analysis show that the value of the benefits of yellowfin tuna is Rp. 9,370,544,310, consisting of the value of direct benefits reaching Rp. 884,400,000, the value of indirect benefits reaching Rp. 8,186,046,610, the value of selected benefits reaching Rp. 402,035,265, the value of the benefits of existence. Rp. 36,089,190 and the benefit value of the inheritance Rp. 88,440,000.

Abstrak

Kota Jayapura sebagai wilayah wilayah pesisir, memiliki keunggulan sebagai daerah penghasil ikan tuna sirip kuning terbesar di Provinsi Papua. Potensi tersebut harus tetap dimanfaatkan secara berkelanjutan dalam mendukung pembangunan wilayah di Kota Jayapura maupun kesejahteraan masyarakat, agar hal tersebut dapat tercipta, maka dibutuhkan informasi nilai ekonomi perikanan tuna sirip kuning yang akan digunakan sebagai dasar dalam pengembangan ikan tuna kuning di masa mendatang. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengidentifikasi nilai manfaat ekosistem pesisir dan laut terhadap perikanan tuna sirip kuning di Kota Jayapura. Jenis data yang dibutuhkan adalah data primer meliputi data jumlah produksi perikanan tuna sirip kuning dan sekunder, Responden penelitian sebanyak 35 KK yaitu nelayan yang menangkap ikan tuna sirip kuning. Penentuan sampel penelitian dengan menggunakan pendekatan acak distratifikasi. Pendekatan yang dipakai yaitu: Analisis Valuasi Ekonomi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai manfaat ikan tuna sirip kuning Rp.9.370.544.310 terdiri dari nilai guna langsung mencapai Rp.884.400.000, nilai guna tidak langsung mencapai Rp.8.186.046.610, nilai manfaat pilihan mencapai Rp.402.035.265, nilai manfaat keberadaan Rp.36.089.190 dan nilai manfaat warisan Rp.88.440.000.
