Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the extent to which the contribution of coastal women's businesses to hand line fishermen's household income in Tateli Weru Village, Mandolang District, Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi Province.

The method used in this research is survey. The data collected consists of primary data and secondary data. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation, both photo documentation and retrieval of written documents from relevant agencies. The data obtained were analysed by quantitative descriptive analysis and qualitative descriptive analysis, then analysed the contribution of the hand line fisherman's wife's business to the fishermen's family income.

Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the contribution of the fishing rod fishermen's income to family income is in the form of work as a seller of yellow rice, petibo, seller of pop ice / cendol / shaved ice, cake seller, fresh fish seller, stall business, fried food seller. The average contribution of hand line fishermen's wives from various jobs is 52.85%

Abstrak

Tujuan penelitian ini ialah menganalisis sejauh mana kontribusi usaha perempuan pesisir terhadap pendapatan rumah tangga nelayan pancing ulur di Desa Tateli Weru Kecamatan Mandolang Kabupaten Minahasa Provinsi Sulawesi Utara.

Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu survei. Data yang dikumpulkan terdiri dari data primer dan data sekunder. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, kuisioner dan dokumentasi baik itu dokumentasi foto maupun pengambilan dokumen tertulis pada instansi terkait. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif, selanjutnya dilakukan analisis kontribusi usaha istri nelayan pancing ulur pada pendapatan keluarga nelayan.

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kontribusi pendapatan istri nelayan pancing ulur terhadap pendapatan keluarga dalam bentuk pekerjaan sebagai penjual nasi kuning, petibo, penjual pop ice/cendol/es cukur, penjual kue, penjual ikan segar, usaha warung, penjual gorengan. Rata-rata kontribusi isteri nelayan pancing ulur dari berbagai pekerjaan yaitu sebesar 52,85%
