Hubungan Harga Diri dan Narsisme pada Siswa dan Mahasiswa Pengguna Media Sosial di Indonesia

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to there was a correlation between self-esteem and Narcissism in Junior Highschool Students, Senior Highschool Students and College Students that use social media actively by collecting some of the literature that will be used for research literature review. Search data using two databases, Pubmed and Google Scholar. At the stage of selection of literature it was found that the ten literature that meets the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The number of samples research on the ten literature is 1.082 which consists of Junior Highschool Students, Senior Highschool Students and College Students who are actively using social media. The results of studies from ten literature review shows that there is a significant relationship between self-esteem and narcissism in junior highschool student, senior highschool student and college student that use social media. Of the ten journals, there were five journals that had a positive relationship between self-esteem and narcissism, with a total 737 samples while the other five journals had a negative relationship between self-esteem and narcissism with 345 samples.

Abstrak: Tujuan dari studi ini adalah untuk mengetahui mengetahui apakah memang ada hubungan antara Harga diri dan Narsisme pada siswa SMP, siswa SMA dan Mahasiswa yang menggunakan media sosial secara aktif dengan cara mengumpulkan beberapa literature-literature yang nantinya akan digunakan untuk penelitian literature review. Pencarian data menggunakan dua database yaitu Pubmed dan Google Scholar. Pada tahap seleksi literature maka ditemukan sepuluh literature yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Jumlah sampel penelitian pada sepuluh literature tersebut adalah 1.082 yang terdiri dari Siswa dan Mahasiswa yang aktif menggunakan media sosial. Hasil penelitian dari sepuluh literature review menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara harga diri dan narsisme. Dari kesepuluh jurnal didapatkan lima jurnal yang memiliki hasil hubungan yang positif antara harga diri dan narsisme dengan jumlah sampel dari kelima jurnal tersebut adalah 737 sampel, sedangkan kelima jurnal yang lain didapatkan hasil hubungan yang negatif antara harga diri dan narsisme dengan jumlah 345 sampel.
