Environmental issues are topics that are always discussed and always considered by various fields. Many efforts have been made to address environmental issues, and in the field of architecture, this has been done by designing objects that not only serve to meet human needs but also serve to preserve the surrounding environment. One architectural theme that has ideas for preserving the environment is biomimicry architecture. The theme of biomimicry architecture is to imitate or study not only the form, function, and structure but also the behavior and interaction of an organism with its environment, and on a larger scale, to study the entire ecosystem that works in an integrated manner. The design of objects must also support and be in line with biomimicry architecture, and resorts are one such example. Resorts are not only tourist destinations but can also be used as places where visitors can learn, understand, and directly participate in protecting the environment. This is because resorts are designed in environments close to nature, such as in hilly areas, on the coast, or around lakes. The design a resort close to nature is very suitable for Minahasa Regency, which has a lot of potential because its natural environment is still well preserved. This is one of the efforts to preserve nature while promoting the tourism potential of Minahasa Regency.
