Abstract

Basically, humans are social creatures who have a need to actualize themselves to other people and their environment.  This can be met through behavior.  Student behavior is seen when they interact, even when the lecture is in progress.  , but different from previous lectures, this year's lectures where the learning process is carried out online or online which is carried out remotely due to the Covid-19 pandemic.  With the pandemic, all activities, both in the world of work and the world of education, are carried out online.  Therefore, all lecture activities are carried out by implementing a remote or online system (online lectures).  Online lectures are a new thing for several universities, including Sam Ratulangi University, with this online lecture the behavior of students has Changed.

This research was conducted using a qualitative method, in which the researcher is the key instrument.  The purpose of this study was to determine the behavior of students from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Sam Ratulangi University in dealing with online lectures during the Covid-19 pandemic.

With lecture activities carried out from home, student behavior during online lectures changes, by turning off the camera during lectures there are lectures while lying down, students can carry out activities while attending lectures.  With the use of the internet to support online lectures, many students whose areas have insufficient and inadequate internet connections have become one of the obstacles in attending this course.  Other benefits are also felt, namely saving the living costs of students who wander, and preparation for attending lectures is much more practical.
