This variety of tribes inhabits islands scattered throughout the archipelago, making this country has a variety of cultures that each community group each has traditions and customs that continue to be preserved.</em></p> <p><em>One of the people who still maintains the traditions and rituals of their ancestors is the Sahu tribe community in Worat-Worat Village. The Sahu tribe has a unique tradition in their culture, namely the ceremony of eating together or in the local language called it the traditional ceremony of Orom Sasadu, which is a tradition passed down from generation to generation by ancestors to be grateful for the harvest they experience in one year. The Orom Sasadu traditional ceremony is a traditional ritual of the Sahu tribe community in general and the people of Worat-Worat Village in particular. The traditional ceremony of Orom Sasadu is a traditional ceremony that has been carried out by the ancestors of the Sahu tribe community in Worat-Worat Village.</em></p> <p><em>The traditional ceremony of Orom Sasadu in the previous decade with the current one is different. Without it, man will not be able to develop ideals and ideals, man will not be able to develop science, and create his works of art in his supporting society. </em></p> <p><em>One of the various art forms is dance. The existing dances have different backgrounds, according to the natural, social and cultural conditions in which they develop. For example, there are ritual dances that are sacred and religious, there are dances that are entertainment, there are dances that are social, and so on.</em></p> <p><em>One of them is the Lalayon dance from Sagea Village, North Weda District, Central Halmahera Regency. Lalayon dance itself is just like other folk dances, appreciating culture in general and following the norms outlined by customs, various movements reflect the subtlety of mind and character of the supporting community which is an integral part of oneself and the environment in which the dance develops which is born from ideas, activities and historical symbols.</em></p> <p><em>But in this day and age it is different from the past, now easy children who want to learn this dance have decreased even though there are but it is different from the previous one because there is no seriousness in playing this Lalayon dance. Culture is inherited from generation to generation from ancestors which is manifested in customs, traditions, and ceremonies as important elements.</em></p> <p><em>One of the traditional ceremonies in Nagekeo culture that aims as a form of community gratitude to commemorate the harvest day of the fields is the Traditional Boxing Ceremony, in the regional language called Etu. The Etu Traditional Boxing Ceremony is a cultural performance as one of a series of traditional events. Traditional ceremonies carried out by the Papuan people have their own forms, cultures and philosophical values and are different from other regions.</em></p> <p><em>The Marori tribe is a small tribe and indigenous language within the large Marind Anim (Marind people) family that inhabits Wasur village, Merauke Regency, Papua. Marori people know the sar system or other names Tanam Sasi in regulating the use of natural resources. The sar system is a prohibition to take natural resources for a long period of time (one thousand days) and is related to respect for relatives who have died. Sar was set after forty days of death.</em></p> <p><em>Tanam Sasi certainly has meaning for the community in general, the Marind tribe, which is a typical Papuan wood carving that symbolizes the presence of ancestral spirits. As a sign of the state of heart for the Papuan people, such as expressing a sense of sadness and happiness. It is intended in addition, as a symbol of trust from the community through human, animal, and plant motifs on it, and also as a symbol of beauty in the form of works of art and masterpieces in the Marind Tribe.</em></p> <p><em>The Traditional Ceremony of Tanam Sasi Death which is a symbol of sadness for grieving families. Rice farming is still the backbone of the rural economy.</em></p> <p><em>The development of rice plants in Tumani Village is still in great demand by the community because it is supported by existing natural and environmental factors. One of the supporting factors is the existence of good irrigation canals that irrigate rice fields so that farmers are not afraid of drought. In rice farming in Tumani Village, the harvest season can be done by farmers up to three times a year. In addition to planting rice they also work side by side as corn or coconut farmers, other businesses and raise livestock such as pigs, cows and chickens.</em></p> <p><em>Farmers in Tumani Village are divided into two categories, namely as sharecroppers and land-owning farmers. Cultivator farmers are farmers who work in other people's gardens and land-owning farmers are farmers who cultivate their own land. One of them is Timbukar Village where this village has an extreme sports tourism object, namely rafting. In several villages in Sonder District have several waterfall attractions that are very interesting to visit, one of which is the Kengkang Waterfall tourist attraction, the location of this tourist attraction can be seen before entering Timbukar Village.
