Abstract

Abstract — The development of the digital world is getting more advanced every day, technology and increasingly sophisticated computers have made conventional things slowly begin to be digitized. Conventional markets, which used to be just buying and selling goods in the same place, are now able to reach more people even though they are in different places. Various places for buying and selling online or what is often called e-commerce are increasingly emerging and competing to innovate to develop their platforms. The price prediction feature in the catalog or e-commerce price is one of the feature innovations that are expected in the future to help prospective buyers make decisions in making purchases. This application is made using the Single Exponential Smoothing method as a price prediction feature in the Android mobile operating system. The application development method used is the Waterfall model with data collection through literature studies. This android mobile application for basic food price catalogs in which there are basic e-commerce features and price prediction features using the Single Exponential Smoothing method is expected to be useful in assisting the process of buying and selling groceries online as well as assisting buyers in making decisions to buy groceries.

Abstrak — Perkembangan dunia digital semakin hari semakin maju, teknologi dan komputer yang semakin canggih membuat hal-hal konvensional berlahan mulai di digitalisasi. Pasar konvensional yang dulunya hanya berupa jual-beli barang disuatu tempat yang sama, kini bisa menjangkau lebih banyak orang walaupun ditempat yang berbeda-beda. Berbagai tempat jual-beli online atau yang sering disebut dengan e-commerce semakin banyak bermunculan dan berlomba-lomba untuk berinovasi mengembangkan platform mereka. Fitur prediksi harga pada katalog atau e-commerce harga adalah salah satu inovasi fitur yang diharapkan kedepannya akan membantu calon pembeli untuk pengambilan keputusan dalam melakukan pembelian. Aplikasi ini dibuat dengan menggunakan metode Single Exponential Smoothing sebagai fitur prediksi harga dalam sistem operasi mobile Android. Metode pengembangan aplikasi yang digunakan adalah model Waterfall dengan pengumpulan data melalui studi literatur. Aplikasi mobile android katalog pejualan sembako dimana didalamnya terdapat fitur dasar e-commerce serta fitur prediksi harga yang menggunakan metode Single Exponential Smoothing ini diharapkan dapat bermanfaat dalam membantu proses jual-beli sembako secara online serta membantu pembeli dalam pengambilan keputusan untuk membeli sembako.
