                         ABSTRACT
   This research entitled “Peningkatan Penguasaan Kosa Kata melalui Pendekatan Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) terhadap Siswa Sekolah Dasar SD GMIM 07 Bukit Moria Malalayang di Era Covid-19â€. This research was conducted in order to improve students’ vocabulary mastery by using Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) approach with blended learning system in the fourth grade of SD GMIM 07 Bukit Moria Malalayang. The aims of this research are to describe the implementation of communicative language teaching approach with blended learning system and to measure the improvement of students’ vocabulary mastery after the implementation. This research used the pre-experiment one-group pretest-posttest design with pre-test, treatment, and post-test to collect the data. In analyzing the data, the researcher used parametric statistic using t-test paired sample in SPSS version 25 for windows. The research finding showed that CLT approach with blended learning system can improve students’ vocabulary learning. This could be proven by looking at the t-test paired sample result with 8,76 which shows a significant result after the treatment. The next evidence is the increase of students’ post-test result after the implementation of the treatment in learning process. The students got 64,28 from the result of pre-test and increased to 78,33 for the post-test result after the treatment. The student’s improvement got 21,85% after the implementation of communicative language teaching approach with blended learning system. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that communicative language teaching approach with blended learning system is effective in improving students’ vocabulary mastery. __________________________________________
