Analisis Beban Kerja Dosen Program Studi Keperawatan Jurusan Kesehatan Politeknik Negeri Nusa Utara Tahuna Kabupaten Kepulauan Sangihe
Abstract
Beban kerja dosen merupakan jumlah pekerjaan yang wajib dilakukan dosen perguruan tinggi dalam menyelenggarakan fungsinya dengan melaksanakan tridharma perguruan tinggi. Parameter kinerja dosen yang baik diukur berdasarkan beban kerja dosen yang mengacu pada pencapaian hasil pelaksanaan tridarma perguruan tinggi. Di Politeknik Negeri Nusa Utara pelaksanaan tridharma belum dapat dicapai secara seimbang karena Rasio Dosen Mahasiswa 1 : 29, kegiatan belajar mengajar yang sangat padat, produktivitas penelitian minim, Praktek Klinik Keperawatan diluar daerah dan dosen menjadi pembimbing dalam kegiatan tersebut, sebagian besar dosen keperawatan memegang jabatan struktural dan terlibat dalam kegiatan akademik lainnya. Tujuan Penelitian ini ialah untuk menganalisis beban kerja dosen Program Studi Keperawatan Jurusan Kesehatan Politeknik Negeri Nusa Utara Tahuna Kabupaten Kepulauan Sangihe. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi langsung. Informan sebanyak 7  orang dosen tetap di Program Studi Keperawatan Jurusan Kesehatan Politeknik Negeri Nusa Utara dipilih berdasarkan pada prinsip kesesuaian dan kecukupan. Data di analisis menggunakan metode content analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan beban kerja dosen keperawatan pada bidang pendidikan dan pengajaran tinggi, beban kerja di bidang penelitian kurang, beban kerja di bidang pengabdian pada masyarakat belum dilaksanakan, beban kerja di bidang penunjang tinggi, dan tugas tambahan sesuai dengan kualifikasi akademik.  Kata Kunci: Beban Kerja, Pendidikan, Pengajaran, Penelitian, Pengabdian pada Masyarakat.  Abstract Faculty workload is the amount of work that must be done lecturer univ ersity organizes its function by performing tridharma college. Good faculty performance parameters measured by the lecturer workload refers to the implementation of achievement tridharma college. At the Polytechnic of North Nusa tridharma implementation can not be achieved in a balanced way as a student faculty ratio 1 : 29, teaching and learning activities are very dense, low research productivity, the area outside the nursing cinical practice and faculty become mentors in these activities, the majority of nursing faculty hold office structural and engaging in other academic active ities. The main task in the field of research and community serv ice sometimes ov erlooked. The purpose of this study was to analyze faculty workloads Health Department of Nursing Studies Program Polythecnic of North Nusa Tahuna Sangihe regency. The research method used is qualitative research. Data were collected through interviews and direct observation. Informants were 7 (seven) permanent lecturers in Nursing studies Program Polythecnic State Health Departments North Nusa selected based on the principle of suitability and adequancy. Data were analyzed using content analysis comparing the results with theory. The results of the study presented in narrative form. The results showed the workload of nursing faculty in the field of higher education and teaching, the workload in the field of research is less, the workload in the areas of community service workload has not been implemented in the field of high support, and additional tasks in accordance with academic qualifications  Keywords : Workload, Education, Teaching, Research, Community Service .Issue
