This research was conducted for 3 months starting from July to September 2023. The data used in this research is primary data. Primary data was obtained by direct interviews with sources. Sampling used the purposive sampling method. The criteria for the specified sample were the people of South Tanoyan Village who changed professions to become gold miners and carried out mining activities in the gold mining area, totaling 42 respondents. The research results show that gold mining activities have had a positive impact on the community's economy, as evidenced by increased income and ownership of adequate housing and transportation facilities. Gold mining activities also have a positive impact on increasing the workforce in South Tanoyan Village, where mining managed by the community requires quite a lot of workers to manage the mine. Apart from the positive impact of gold mining activities carried out by the community, it has a negative impact on the social community, this activity has a negative impact on agricultural land and the surrounding environment, the increase in illegal miners who carry out mining outside licensed areas and these activities result in accidents and fatalities, this occurs because of mining activities. Those managed by the community are still traditional.
Hendrawan DamolaiLeonardus Ricky RengkungCaroline Besty Diana Pakasi

This study used a factorial experiment in a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 5 replications consisting of two factors. The first factor is the type of auxin: IAA (A1), NAA (A2), and IBA (A3), and the second factor is the concentration of each auxin: 1 ml/l (K1), 2 ml/l (K2), and 3 ml/l (K3). The data were analyzed using analysis of variance, and if the results were significant, a 5% Least Significant Difference (LSD) test was conducted. The results showed that there was an interaction between the type and concentration of auxin on variables such as the number of roots, root length, root emergence time, number of leaves, number of shoots, and shoot height. Similarly, there was an effect of auxin concentration on each type of auxin, but there was a significant effect of individual auxin types (IAA, NAA, and IBA) on the root formation of Dendrobium mirbelianum orchids, affecting variables such as the number of roots, root length, root emergence time, number of leaves, number of shoots, and shoot height.
Justio P.D. https://ejournal.unsrat.ac.id/v3/index.php/jisep/article/view/57525

This study aims to analyze and provide a descriptive overview of the farmer regeneration process through family farming succession. This study employed a systematic literature review following the PRISMA guidelines. The literature used in this study comprised scientific articles published in journals between 2015 and 2024. These articles were retrieved from Google Scholar and ProQuest databases using the keywords “farmer regeneration,” “farm succession,” “family farming,” and “farmer households” in both English and Indonesian. A total of 1284 publications were identified through keyword searches and 13 articles were included in the review. The results of the literature review shows that farm succession within farming families is influenced by various driving factors and challenges. To address these challenges, effective succession strategies include family socialization, mentoring programs, vocational education, youth entrepreneurship programs, and extension and training activities. Increasing the role of farmer groups in sharing information and experiences is also essential to support the sustainability of farming. Given the urgency and limited research on farm succession within farming families, further research is needed, especially studies that specifically identify strategies to enhance farm succession within farming families. Additionally, comparative studies between farm succession in different regions or countries could be conducted to understand the differences in driving factors and challenges. This could include comparisons between areas with high and low urbanization levels, as well as between different regions in Indonesia with varying cultural, social, and economic backgrounds.
Aimar Ridel Saviola TimbanIgnacia Mariana MawuntuAngelica PaendongEster Maria Grace PuaMuh Tri Alqadri Ramadhan Fauzi

This study aims to understand the characteristics of shallots consumers and analyze the factors influencing shallots demand at Pasar Inpres Matawai, Waingapu City District. The research was conducted over two months, from June to July 2023. The study location is Matawai Village. A sample was then determined using Slovin’s formula with an error level of 10% (0.1), resulting in 91 household samples from Matawai Village. Data obtained from respondent interviews were processed and tabulated. The data were then analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis methods and described descriptively. The study findings on shallots consumer characteristics reveal that most consumers are of productive age, with an average age of 47 years. The education level of shallots consumers is generally high, with an average education level ranging from high school (SMA) to higher education.
