Background: Quality sleep is a vital necessity for humans, especially adolescent girls in their physiological development stage. However, numerous studies show that adolescents often experience poor sleep quality, which can affect their hemoglobin levels and increase the risk of anemia. Objective: To describe the sleep quality and hemoglobin levels of adolescent girls in Malalayang 1 Barat Village, Manado City. Methods: This study employed a descriptive design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 30 adolescent girls aged 10-18 years, selected purposively. Data were collected using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) questionnaire to assess sleep quality and a Sysmex XN-1000 hematology analyzer to measure hemoglobin levels. Results: The study revealed that 83.3% of respondents had poor sleep quality, while the majority of hemoglobin levels were in the normal range (53.3%). The relationship between poor sleep quality and low hemoglobin levels indicated a risk of anemia. Conclusion: The majority of adolescent girls in Malalayang 1 Barat Subdistrict, Manado City, have poor sleep quality, although a small portion exhibit good sleep quality. Most also have normal hemoglobin levels according to WHO standards, but some samples show low hemoglobin levels, indicating a risk of anemia.
