HUBUNGAN KAMPUS UNIVERSITAS KLABAT DENGAN PEMANFAATAN LAHAN SEKITARNYA

Abstract

ABSTRAK

Universitas Klabat universitas yang terletak di Kecamatan Airmadidi, Kabupaten Minahasa Utara yang berperan sebagai salah satu penyedia sarana pendidikan dan menjadi sarana penunjang untuk proses pembelajaran. Adanya suatu universitas maka akan berpengaruh pada kawasan disekitarnya, semakin banyak yang datang untuk menempuh pendidikan, maka kegiatan sosial, ekonomi dan budaya akan semakin meningkat. Sehingga menyebabkan kebutuhan suatu lahan juga semakin meningkat. Untuk itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui perubahan pemanfaatan lahan di sekitar Universitas Klabat dan menganalisis hubungan antara Universitas Klabat dengan pemanfaatan lahan sekitarnya. Pengumpulan data didapatkan melalui observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi dengan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif serta analisis korelasi pearson. Hasil penelitian ini mengidentifikasi bahwa pemanfaatan lahan dalam kurun waktu 16 tahun (2005-2020) mengalami perubahan yakni luas lahan jalan tol bertambah sebesar 69,3 Ha, luas lahan hutan berkurang sebesar 6,5 Ha, luas lahan perkantoran bertambah sebesar 6,0 Ha, luas lahan perkebunan/kebun berkurang sebesar 85,9 Ha, luas lahan permukiman bertambah sebesar 72,1 Ha, luas lahan persawahan berkurang sebesar 15,2 Ha, dan luas lahan tegalan/ladang berkurang sebesar 39,8 Ha. Dari hasil analisis korelasi pearson yang diperoleh bahwa 100% dari variabel pemanfaatan lahan memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan variabel Kampus UNKLAB, serta memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dan kuat/sangat kuat.

  ABSTRACT  

Klabat University is a university located in Airmadidi District, North Minahasa Regency which acts as one of the providers of educational facilities and becomes a supporting facility for the learning process. The existence of a university will affect the surrounding area, the more people who come to study, the social, economic and cultural activities will increase. This causes the demand for land to increase as well. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine changes in land use around the University of Klabat and to analyze the relationship between the University of Klabat and the use of the surrounding land. Data collection was obtained through observation, interviews, as well as documentation with quantitative descriptive analysis and Pearson correlation analysis. The results of this study identify that land use within a period of 15 years (2005-2020) has changed, namely the toll road area increased by 69.3 Ha, forest land area decreased by 6.5 Ha, office land area increased by 6.0 Ha , the area of plantation/garden area decreased by 85.9 Ha, the area of residential land increased by 72.1 Ha, the area of rice fields decreased by 15.2 Ha, and the area of dry land/field decreased by 39.8 Ha. From the results of the Pearson correlation analysis, it was obtained that 100% of the land use variables had a significant relationship with the UNKLAB Campus variable, and had a significant and strong/very strong relationship.
