PENGARUH TERAPI MUSIK INSTRUMENTAL KOLINTANG PADA PENINGKATAN FUNGSI KOGNITIF PASCASTROKE SUBAKUT DENGAN MILD COGNITIVE IMPAIRMENT

Abstract

Latar Belakang : Stroke merupakan penyebab kecacatan terbanyak pada kelompok usia dewasa dan insidennya semakin lama semakin meningkat. Stroke menempati peringkat kedua penyebab kematian dan peringkat ketiga penyebab disabilitas global. Stroke berdampak signifikan pada disabilitas dan meningkatkan beban kesehatan pada pasien, keluarga maupun sistem pelayanan kesehatan. Gangguan kognitif sering terjadi pascastroke dan merupakan salah satu penentu utama buruknya keberhasilan terapi jangka panjang. Terapi musik berhubungan dengan neuroplastisitas yang penting untuk meningkatkan fungsi kognitif. Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) merupakan salah satu faktor yang berpengaruh dalam pemulihan pascastroke subakut serta memerlukan penanganan komprehensif, namun sering kurang mendapat perhatian. Penelitian ini ingin melihat efek terapi musik instrumental kolintang pada peningkatan fungsi kognitif pascastroke subakut dengan mild cognitive impairment.

Tujuan: Menganalisis efek terapi musik instrumental kolintang dapat meningkatkan fungsi kognitif pascastroke subakut dengan mild cognitive impairment.

Metode: Penelitian eksperimental dengan pretest – posttest group design.

Hasil: Hasil analisis data menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang sangat bermakna antara nilai rerata sebelum dan sesudah terapi konvensional dengan nilai p < 0,001.

Kesimpulan: Peningkatan fungsi kognitif ditemukan lebih tinggi pascapemberian terapi konvensional dan musik instrumental kolintang daripada pascapemberian terapi konvensional pascastroke subakut dengan mild cognitive impairment.
