PENGARUH PENYULUHAN TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN REMAJA TENTANG SEKS PRA-NIKAH DI SMA KRISTEN YPKM MANADO

Abstract

Penyebab seks bebas pada remaja adalah kurangnya pengawasan dari orang tua, perubahan hormonal yang meningkatkan hasrat seksual remaja, adanya rasa ingin tahu, dan pendidikan agama yang kurang kuat. Dampak dari seks bebas yaitu aborsi pada remaja, penyakit kelamin dan homoseksualitas. Survey awal pada bulan Juli 2014 di  SMA Kristen YPKM Manado, jumlah keseluruhan siswa 50 orang dan dari hasil wawancara terdapat beberapa siswa yang belum mengerti tentang seks pranikah. Pada tahun ajaran 2013/2014 terdapat 5 siswa yang dikeluarkan dari sekolah karena hamil. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh penyuluhan tentang seks pra-nikah terhadap pengetahuan remaja di SMA Kristen YPKM Manado. Jenis Penelitian yang digunakan adalah rancangan penelitian one group pretest and postest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 50 siswa. Sampel adalah total populasi yaitu 50 responden. Analisis data dalam bentuk tabel distribusi frekuensi dan analisis statistik deskritip menggunakan software SPSS. Hasil analisis data menunjukan terjadi peningkatan jumlah responden yang berpengetahuan baik yaitu dari 25 responden (50%) menjadi 46 responden (92%) serta tidak terdapat responden yang berpengetahuan kurang setelah diberikan penyuluhan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diharapkan kepada pihak sekolah untuk bekerja sama dengan petugas kesehatan dalam memberikan pendidikan kesehatan tentang seks pra-nikah.

ABSTRACT

The causes of free sex in adolescents are a lack of supervision from parents, hormonal changes that increase adolescent sexual desire, curiosity, and less strong religious education. The effects of free sex are abortion in adolescents, venereal disease and homosexuality. The initial survey in July 2014 at YPKM Manado Christian High School, the total number of students was 50 people and from the results of interviews there were several students who did not understand premarital sex. In the 2013/2014 school year there were 5 students who were expelled from school due to pregnancy. The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of counseling on pre-marital sex on the knowledge of adolescents at YPKM Christian High School in Manado. The type of research used is the research design of one group pretest and posttest. The population in this study amounted to 50 students. The sample is a total population of 50 respondents. Data analysis in the form of frequency distribution tables and deskritip statistical analysis using SPSS software. The results of data analysis showed an increase in the number of respondents who were well-informed, namely from 25 respondents (50%) to 46 respondents (92%) and there were no respondents who were less knowledgeable after being given counseling. Based on the results of the study, it is expected that the school will cooperate with health workers in providing health education about premarital sex.
