TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN REMAJA PUTERI TENTANG MENARCHE DI SMP NEGERI 3 RATAHAN KECAMATAN RATAHAN KABUPATEN MINAHASA TENGGARA

Abstract

Menarche adalah keluarnya darah pertama kali pada wanita yang menginjak dewasa melalui sistem reproduksinya. Usia saat seorang anak perempuan mulai mendapat menstruasi sangat bervariasi, sebab hal itu tergantung kepada faktor suku, genetik, gizi, social dan ekonomi seseorang. Umumnya menarche terjadi dalam rentang usia 10-16 tahun atau pada masa awal remaja di tengah masa pubertas sebelum memasuki masa reproduksi. Dari survey awal yang dilakukan oleh peneliti di SMP Negeri 3 Ratahan jumlah siswa siswi SMP Negeri 3 Ratahan sampai pada bulan juli tahun 2014 berjumlah 110 siswa dengan jumlah siswa laki-laki 57 orang dan jumlah siswi perempuan 53 orang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan remaja puteri tentang Menarche di SMP Negeri 3 Ratahan. Jenis Penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 53 siswi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah total populasi yang berjumlah 53 responden. Analisis data dalam bentuk tabel frekwensi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah pengetahuan responden bahwa dari 53 responden, yang sudah mengalami menarche berjumlah 37 responden (69,8%) dan belum mengalami menarche berjumlah 16 responden (30,2%), dengan tingkat pengetahuan remaja puteri yang sudah mengalami menarche terbanyak berpengetahuan baik yaitu 31 responden (58,5%), sedangkan remaja puteri yang belum mengalami menarche terbanyak berpengetahuan cukup yaitu 9 responden (17%). Kesimpulan bahwa remaja puteri yang sudah mengalami menarche memiliki pengetahuan lebih tinggi dari pada remaja puteri yang belum mengalami menarche oleh karena itu perlunya petugas kesehatan untuk memberikan pendidikan kesehatan kepada remaja tentang menarche agar kesehatan reproduksi remaja puteri akan jadi lebih baik dimulai sejak dini.

ABSTRACT

Menarche is the first release of blood in women who have reached adulthood through their reproductive system. The age when a girl starts menstruating varies greatly, because it depends on a person's ethnic, genetic, nutritional, social and economic factors. Generally menarche occurs in the age range of 10-16 years or in the early teens in the middle of puberty before entering the reproductive period. From the initial survey conducted by researchers in State Middle School 3 Ratahan the number of students of the 3 Middle School Middle School in Ratahan until July 2014 amounted to 110 students with 57 male students and 53 female students. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge of young women about Menarche in Ratahan 3 Public Middle School. The type of research used is descriptive method. The population in this study amounted to 53 female students. The sample in this study was a total population of 53 respondents. Analysis of data in the form of frequency tables. The results of this study are the knowledge of respondents that of 53 respondents, who have experienced menarche amounted to 37 respondents (69.8%) and have not experienced menarche totaling 16 respondents (30.2%), with the knowledge level of young women who have experienced the most menarche is well-informed that is 31 respondents (58.5%), while young women who have not experienced the most menarche have enough knowledge, namely 9 respondents (17%). The conclusion is that young women who have experienced menarche have higher knowledge than young women who have not experienced menarche, therefore the need for health workers to provide health education to adolescents about menarche so that the reproductive health of girls will be better starting early.
