HUBUNGAN ANTARA RIWAYAT PEMBERIAN ASI EKSKLUSIF DENGAN STUNTING PADA ANAK USIA 6-24 BULAN DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS KOYA KABUPATEN MINAHASA

Abstract

Secara global, Indonesia adalah negara dengan prevalensi stunting kelima terbesar, tahun 2013 prevalensi stunting (PB/U) pada anak balita di Indonesia sebesar 36,4%. Data hasil PSG tahun 2016 dari Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Sulawesi Utara, presentase balita stunting di Sulawesi Utara sebesar 21,2%, nilai presentase ini masuk dalam kategori masalah ringan stunting. Untuk Kabupaten Minahasa presentase balita stunting (PB/U) sebesar 24%. Data tahun 2017 yang diperoleh dari Puskesmas Koya, cakupan ASI eksklusif di wilayah kerja puskesmas ini hanya 19,8%. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui adanya hubungan antara riwayat pemberian ASI eksklusif dengan stunting pada balita usia 6 – 24 bulan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Koya Tondano. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan cross-sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua anak usia 6-24 bulan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Koya dengan jumlah sampel 90 anak. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji chi-square dengan Ï = 0,05. Hasil analisis univariat jumlah anak yang berstatus gizi pendek sebesar 23,3% dan anak yang menerima ASI eksklusif sebesar 33,3%. Hasil analisis data hubungan antara riwayat pemberian ASI eksklusif dan stunting adalah Ï = 0,017. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah, riwayat pemberian ASI eksklusif memiliki hubungan yang bermakna dengan stunting.

ABSTRACT
Globally, Indonesia is the country with the fifth largest stunting prevalence, in 2013 the prevalence of stunting (BL/A) in toddlers in Indonesia amounted to 36,4%. The result data of Determination of Nutritional Status from Provincial Health Office in North Sulawesi, the percentage of stunting in North Sulawesi toddler amounted to 21.2%, this percentage value entered in category light problem stunting. For the Regency of Minahasa the percentage of stunting toddler is 24%. While the data for 2017 obtained from PHC Koya, coverage of exclusive breast feeding in the clinics area is only 19.8%. The purpose of this research is to know the existence of the relationship between exclusive breast feeding history with stunting on toddlers ages 6 – 24 months in a work-area of PHC Koya Tondano. The design of this research is cross-sectional approach. The population in this research is all toddlers aged 6-24 months in working area Clinics Koya. Data analysis univariate is used and bivariate use chi-square test with Ï = 0.05. The results of the univariate analysis for the children with nutritional status short is 23.3% and children who receive exclusive breast feeding is 33.3%. The results of the data analysis relationship between exclusive breast feeding history and stunting is Ï = 0.017. Conclusion of this research is the history of exclusive breast feeding, have a meaningful relationship with stunting.
