PENGARUH PENYULUHAN KESEHATAN TENTANG BAHAYA MEROKOK TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN PELAJARSEKOLAH MENENGAH ATAS DI DESA LIKUPANG I KABUPATEN MINAHASA UTARA

Abstract

Penyuluhan Kesehatan adalah kegiatan penyebarluasan informasi kesehatan dengan sasaran masyarakat bertujuan untuk memberdayakan masyarakat sehingga mau dan mampu untuk berperilaku hidup bersih dan sehat. Keberhasilan dari kegiatan penyuluhan ini perlu didukung dengan teknik penyampaian pesan melibatkan masyarakat dan menggunakan alat bantu Merokok sangat berbahaya bagi kesehatan, dengan kandungan kimia yang dihasilkan dari asap rokok dapat mempengaruhi kesehatan baik pada perokok aktif maupun pasif. Pelajar sekolah tingkat menengah atas memiliki risiko untuk merokok karena dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan sekitar, maka dari itu penyuluhan kesehatan dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan pelajar sehingga tahu dan memahami bahaya dari rokok dan terhindar dari perilaku merokok. Tujuan penelitian ini yakni untuk menganalisis Pengaruh Penyuluhan Kesehatan tentang Bahaya Merokok Terhadap Pengetahuan Pelajar Sekolah Menengah Atas di Desa Likupang I Kabupaten Minahasa Utara. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan true eksperiment dengan randomized pretest-posttest control group design. Populasi yakni seluruh pelajar kelas XI sekolah menengah atas di desa Likupang I. Sampel yaitu Pelajar kelas XI berjumlah 60 pelajar di SMA Negeri 1 Likupang  dan SMK Likupang. Instrument penelitian ini yakni kuisioner, leaflet, slide presentasi dan alat tulis menulis. Analisi data menggunakan uji t test. Pada kelompok kontrol tidak terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan pada pre-test dan post-test dengan nilai p value = 0,326 (α>0,05). Hasil pre-test dan post-test kelompok eksperimen terdapat perbedaan dengan nilai p value = 0,000 (α<0,05). Pengaruh penyuluhan kesehatan terhadap pengetahuan kelompok kontrol dan eksperimen dengan hasil p value = 0,000 (α<0,05). Penyuluhan kesehatan berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan pelajar sekolah menengah atas di Desa Likupang I Kabupaten Minahasa Utara.

ABSTRACT

Health Education is the activity of disseminating health information with the target of the community aimed at empowering the community so that they are willing and able to behave in a clean and healthy life. The success of health education activity needs to be supported by the technique of delivering messages involving the community and using smoking aids is very dangerous for health, with the chemical content produced from cigarette smoke can affect the health of both active and passive smokers. High school students have the risk to smoke because they are influenced by the surrounding environment, therefore health education is conducted to increase student knowledge so that they know and understand the dangers of smoking and avoid smoking behavior. The purpose of this study is to analyze the Effects of Health Education on the Dangers of Smoking on the Knowledge of High School Students in Likupang I Village, North Minahasa Regency. The type of research used is true experiment with randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The population is all students of class XI high school in Likupang village I. The sample is students of class XI totaling 60 students in SMA Negeri 1 Likupang and SMK Likupang. The research instruments were questionnaire, leaflet, presentation slide and writing stationery. Data analysis using t test. In the control group there was no difference in knowledge in the pre-test and post-test with p value = 0.326 (α> 0.05). The results of the pre-test and post-test experimental groups there are differences with the value of p value = 0,000 (α <0.05). The effect of health education on the knowledge of the control and experimental groups with the results of p value = 0,000 (α <0.05). Health education has an effect on increasing the knowledge of high school students in Likupang I Village, North Minahasa Regency.
