HUBUNGAN KONSUMSI ALKOHOL DAN PENDAPATAN DENGAN KUALITAS HIDUP PADA NELAYAN DI DESA APENGSALA KECAMATAN TAGULANDANG, KABUPATEN SIAU TAGULANDANG BIARO

Abstract

Kualitas hidup adalah konsep dari berbagai aspek yang luas, yang umumnya meliputi penilaian secara khusus baik dari segi positif maupun negatif terhadap kehidupan. Kabupaten Siau Tagulandang Biaro berada diurutan kesebelas kualitas hidup di Provinsi Sulawesi Utara dengan skor 74,56 dari lima belas Provinsi di Sulawesi Utara. Kualitas hidup masyarakat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor beresiko, salah satunya adalah konsumsi alkohol. Selain konsumsi alkohol, pendapatan masyarakat juga dapat mempengaruhi kualitas hidup. Tujuan umum dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara konsumsi alkohol dan pendapatan  dengan kualitas hidup pada nelayan di Desa Apengsala Kecamatan Tagulandang Kabupaten Siau Tagulandang Biaro. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei analitik dengan desain cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh nelayan yang ada di Desa Apengsala. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh populasi yang berjumlah 89 orang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni sampai dengan Agustus 2019.  Analisis bivariat menggunakan uji chi square dengan p value=0,05. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara konsumsi alkohol dengan kualitas hidup dengan p = 0,000 dan terdapat hubungan antara pendapatan keluarga dengan kualitas hidup dengan nilai p = 0,000.

ABSTRACT

Quality of life is a concept of a broad range of aspects, which generally include a special judgment both positively and negatively on life. Regency of Siau Tagulandang Biaro ranks in the eleventh quality of life in North Sulawesi province with a score of 74.56 from fifteen provinces in North Sulawesi. The quality of life of society is influenced by several factors at risk, one of which is alcohol consumption. In addition to alcohol consumption, public income can also affect quality of life. The general purpose of this study is to find out if there is a link between alcohol consumption and income with quality of life in fishermen in the village of Apengsala Tagulandang subdistrict Siau Tagulandang Biaro District. This type of research is a research analytical survey with cross sectional design. The population in this study is all fishermen in the village of Apengsala. The samples in this study were the total population of 89 people. The research was conducted in June to August 2019.  The Bivariate analysis uses the Chi Square test with P value = 0.05. The results showed that there was a link between the consumption of alcohol and the quality of life with P = 0.000 and there was a relationship between family income with quality of life with the value P = 0.000.
