DETERMINAN PERILAKU HIDUP BERSIH DAN SEHAT (PHBS) PADA PESERTA DIDIK DI SMP KRISTEN IRENE MANADO

Abstract

Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) yaitu cerminan pola hidup keluarga yang senantiasa memperhatiikan dan menjaga kesehatan seluruh anggota keluarga. Anak sekolah merupakan suatu aset yang sangat berharga bagi bangsa di masa depan yang harus dijaga serta ditingkatkan kesehatannya dengan program kesehatan untuk melindungi anak sekolah dari berbagai penyakit. Institusi sekolah juga merupakan rumah bagi anak sekolah yang dapat membantu upaya optimalisasi tumbuh kembang anak dengan menanamkan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat agar anak sekolah berperan aktif dalam mempromosikan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat di sekolah dan di masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian  adalah mengetahui determinan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat pada peserta didik di SMP Kristen Irene Manado. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional. Populasi penelitian ini  adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VII. VIII, IX SMP Kristen Irene Manado. Analisis data menggunakan uji Chi-square. Hasil penelitian ada hubungan antara pengetahuan (p= 0,005), sikap (p= 0,005), peran guru (p= 0,013), dan sarana prasarana dengan PHBS (p= 0,002). Kesimpulan ada hubungan antara pengetahuan, sikap, peran guru, sarana prasarana dengan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat pada peserta didik di SMP Kristen Irene Manado.

ABSTRACT

Clean and Healthy Behavior (PHBS) is a reflection of family life patterns that always pay attention and maintain the health of all family members. School children are a very valuable asset for the nation in the future that must be maintained and improved health with health programs to protect school children from various diseases. The school institution is also a home for school children who can help efforts to optimize the growth and development of children by instilling clean and healthy living behaviors so that school children play an active role in promoting clean and healthy behavior in schools and the community. The purpose of this study was to determine the determinants of clean and healthy living behavior among students at Irene Manado Christian Middle School. This type of research is quantitative research with a cross-sectional design. The population of this study was all students of class VII. VIII, IX Irene Manado Christian Middle School. Data analysis using the Chi-square test. The results of the study there is a relationship between knowledge (p = 0.005), attitude (p = 0.005), the role of the teacher (p = 0.013), and infrastructure and PHBS (p = 0.002). The conclusion is that there is a relationship between knowledge, attitudes, the role of the teacher, infrastructure, and clean and healthy behavior of students in Irene Manado Christian Middle School.
