Persepsi Masyarakat Tentang Vaksinasi Coronavirus Disease 2019

Abstract

Penyakit Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) ditetapkan sebagai pandemi oleh WHO pada tanggal 11 Maret 2020. Meningkatnya kasus konfirmasi COVID-19 tiap harinya membuat pelaksanaan vaksinasi COVID-19 menjadi langkah terbaik yang dilakukan pemerintah dalam menurunkan penyebaran COVID-19. Persepsi masyarakat mengenai program vaksinasi COVID-19 merupakan suatu pemahaman yang mencakup penerimaan terhadap vaksinasi, kepercayaan, efek samping, keamanan vaksin COVID-19, kapasitas tenaga kesehatan dalam memberikan informasi mengenai vaksinasi COVID-19 dan informasi terpercaya terkait pelaksanaan vaksinasi. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui persepsi masyarakat tentang vaksinasi COVID-19 di Kecamatan Malalayang Kota Manado. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Agustus-September 2021. Responden dalam penelitian terdiri dari 80 responden yang belum mengikuti vaksinasi dan responden yang sudah memperoleh vaksin COVID-19 dosis pertama. Metode sampling yaitu consecutive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan secara univariat. Hasil penelitian persepsi masyarakat di Kecamatan Malalayang Kota Manado tentang vaksinasi COVID-19 pada responden yang belum mengikuti vaksinasi menunjukkan bahwa paling banyak berpersepsi cukup persentase 37,9% dan persepsi masyarakat pada responden sudah memperoleh vaksin COVID-19 dosis pertama menunjukkan persepsi baik dan persepsi kurang masing-masing memiliki persentase 42,9%. Kesimpulan persepsi masyarakat tentang vaksinasi COVID-19, tidak semua masyarakat memiliki persepsi baik terhadap pelaksanaan program ini bahkan pada responden yang sudah memperoleh vaksin dosis pertama. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan sosialisasi dan edukasi tentang manfaat vaksin COVID-19.

ABSTRACT
Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) was declared a pandemic by WHO on March 11, 2020. The increasing number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 every day has made the implementation of COVID-19 vaccination the best step taken by the government in reducing the spread of COVID-19. Public perception of the COVID-19 vaccination program is an understanding that includes acceptance of vaccination, trust, side effects, safety of the COVID-19 vaccine, capacity of health workers to provide information about COVID-19 vaccination and reliable information related to vaccination implementation. The purpose of the study was to determine public perceptions of COVID-19 vaccination in Malalayang District, Manado City. This is a descriptive research. The study was conducted in August-September 2021. The respondents in the study consisted of 80 respondents who had not taken vaccinations and respondents who had received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The sampling method is consecutive sampling. Data analysis was performed univariately. The result showed that the research on public perceptions in the Malalayang District, Manado City regarding the COVID-19 vaccination on respondents who have not participated in the vaccination show that the most perceived percentage is 37.9% and the public perception of respondents having received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine shows a good perception and poor perception. each has a percentage of 42.9%. It can be concluded that the public perception about COVID-19 vaccination, not all people have a good perception of the implementation of this program, even for respondents who have received the first dose of vaccine. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out socialization and education about the benefits of the COVID-19 vaccine.
