Abstract

Abstrak: Kinerja pasar modal merupakan kemampuan perusahaan mempertahankan dan memperbaiki kinerja dan kepercayaan para investor sehingga harga saham perusahaan di bursa saham dapat meningkat. Saat ini virus covid-19 menyebabkan krisis bagi hampir seluruh Negara di dunia, bursa saham dunia pun mengalami penurunan harga ditandai dengan indeks harga saham gabungan bursa-bursa global yang serempak menurun selama pandemi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kinerja pasar modal di india sebelum dan setelah gelombang dua virus covid-19. Sampel dalam penelitian ini di ambil dari 30 hari sebelum dan 30 hari setelah yang diperoleh melalui teknik sampling jenuh. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah Uji Paired Sample T-Test. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kinerja pasar modal yang signifikan sebelum dan setelah gelombang dua virus covid-19 pada variabel : indeks harga saham gabungan, frekuensi perdagangan, trading volume activity dan market capitalization.

Abstrak: Capital market performance is the company's ability to maintain and improve the performance and trust of investors so that the company's stock price on the stock exchange can increase. At present the Covid-19 virus is causing a crisis for almost all countries in the world, world stock exchanges have also experienced a decrease in price marked by the combined stock price index of global exchanges which simultaneously decreased during the pandemic. This study aims to analyze the performance of the capital market in India before and after the second wave of the Covid-19 virus. The samples in this study were taken from 30 days before and 30 days after which were obtained through saturated sampling techniques. The analysis technique used is the Paired Sample T-Test. The results of this study found that there were significant differences in capital market performance before and after the second wave of the Covid-19 virus in the variables: composite stock price index, trading frequency, trading volume activity and market capitalization.
