Profil Cedera pada Korban Kecelakaan Lalu Lintas Pengguna Sepeda Motor di RS Bhayangkara Tk. III Manado Tahun 2022 – 2024

Abstract: Traffic accidents are a serious problem in the fields of law and public health, with an increasing number of cases in Indonesia. Motorcycle users are at high risk of injury due to minimal physical protection while riding. This study aimed to determine the injury profile of motorcycle accident victims at Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Tk. III Manado during the years 2022–2024. This was a descriptive and retrospective study using secondary data from Visum et Repertum. The result obtained 177 cases of motorcycle accident, most of them were male (71.2%) and aged between 19–59 years (70.6%). The highest number of accidents occurred in September 2022 and October 2023. The most common type of injury was abrasion (63%), with the lower extremities being the most frequent site of injury. In conclusion, the highest number of traffic accident cases occurred in September 2022 and October 2023, predominantly affecting males aged 19-59 years, with the type of injury was abrasion located in the lower extremities.

Abstrak: Kecelakaan lalu lintas (KLL) merupakan masalah serius di bidang hukum dan kesehatan masyarakat, dengan angka kejadian yang terus meningkat di Indonesia. Pengguna sepeda motor memiliki risiko tinggi mengalami cedera karena minimnya perlindungan fisik saat berkendara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil cedera pada korban KLL pengguna sepeda motor di RS Bhayangkara Tk. III Manado tahun 2022–2024. Jenis penelitian ialah deskriptif retrospektif dengan menggunakan data sekunder dari Visum et Repertum. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan 177 kasus korban KLL pengguna sepeda motor. Sebagian besar korban berjenis kelamin laki-laki (71,2%) dan berada pada rentang usia 19–59 tahun (70,6%). Kasus KLL terbanyak terjadi pada bulan September 2022 dan Oktober 2023. Jenis luka yang paling banyak ditemukan ialah luka lecet (63%), dengan lokasi perlukaan terbanyak pada ekstremitas bawah. Simpulan penelitian ini ialah kasus kecelakaan lalu lintas terbanyak terjadi pada bulan September 2022 dan Oktober 2023 dengan rentang usia korban 19-59 tahun, didominasi oleh jenis kelamin laki-laki dengan jenis luka lecet dan lokasi perlukaan di bagian ekstremitas bawah.
