Bajakah is often used by Dayak people as a traditional medicine. This plant belongs to the genus unicaria. Plants in the genus unicaria are known to contain many secondary metabolite compounds which have many pharmacological activities. This research was conducted to look at the characteristics of extracts from yellow bajakah including organoleptic examination, drying shrinkage test, water content test, measurement of extract pH, ash content, heavy metal contamination, microbial contamination. The research results showed that the organoleptic examination met the FHI requirements, the drying loss of the extract was 9.56%, the water content was 4.71%, the pH of the extract was 6.41, the ash content was 6.49%, heavy metal contamination with Pb content parameters <0.0172 mg/ L, Cd <0.0084 mg/L, As <0.0002 mg/L, microbial contamination below normal limits. Based on this, yellow bajakah bark extract has extract characteristics that are in accordance with those specified in the Indonesian Herbal Pharmacopoeia (FHI)Downloads
