Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of compensation and worklife balance on employee retention at Sintesa Peninsula Hotel Manado. This study has a sample of 44 responses and in this study, the research method used is a quantitative research method using the SmartPLS 4 software program. Based on the results of the study, it is found that the results of hypothesis testing show that the value between the compensation and worklife balance variables is 0.582. The value between the compensation and employee retention variables is 0.143 and the value between the worklife balance and retention variables is 0.654. The results showed that compensation and worklife balance at Sintesa Peninsula Hotel Manado had a positive effect on employee retention at Sintesa Peninsula Hotel Manado.
