Kawasan pantai timur di Kabupaten Minahasa Provinsi Sulawesi Utara mempunyai pariwisata yang besar yaitu disektor wisata pantai, dalam penelitian ini kawasan pesisir pantai menjadi menarik untuk dibahas karena aktivitas wisata pantai dan potensi khususnya pada pantai yang berada di Kecamatan Lembean Timur, Kecamatan Kakas. Potensi pariwista di pantai timur minahasa belum mendapatkan penangan yang optimal dalam upaya pembentukan dan pemanfaatan. karena walaupun memiliki potensi yang besar tetapi masih belum dikembangkan dengan benar/ maksimal. Oleh karena itu perlu pengidentifikasi sebaran aktivitas wisata pantai diwilayah pantai timur minahasa dan menganalisis daya dukung pariwisata dikawasan pantai timur minahasa. Hasil dari pengindentifikasi pariwisata dipantai timur memiliki 2 objek dengan potensi tinggi, 7 objek berpotensi sedang, dan 1 objek yang berpotensi rendah. Hasil analisis daya dukung pariwisata dilakukan pada 4 objek wisata salah satu objek wisata yang dianalisis adalah pantai mahembang dengan kategori rekreasi dengan nilai indeks kesesuaian kawasan terdapat 2,145 dengan presentase 72% S2 yang artinya sesuai, dengan daya dukung kawasan pariwisata pantai kategori rekreasi terdapat 1485 (orang/hari).

ABSTRACT

The east coast area in Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi Province has a large tourism sector, namely the beach tourism sector, in this study the coastal area becomes interesting to discuss because of beach tourism activities and potential, especially on beaches located in East Lembean District, Kakas District. The potential for tourism on the east coast of Minahasa has not yet been optimally handled in an effort to establish and use it. because even though it has great potential, it has not been developed properly/maximum. Therefore, it is necessary to identify the distribution of coastal tourism activities in the East Coast of Minahasa and analyze the carrying capacity of tourism in the East Coast of Minahasa. The results of the identification of tourism on the east coast have 2 objects with high potential, 7 objects with medium potential, and 1 object with low potential. The results of the analysis of the carrying capacity of tourism carried out on 4 tourist objects, one of the attractions analyzed is the Mahembang beach in the recreation category with an area suitability index value of 2.145 with a percentage of 72% S2 which means it is appropriate, with the carrying capacity of the beach tourism area in the recreational category there are 1485 (people /day).
